Would TNA Benefit From Having a 3 Hour Show?

I was thinking, given how rushed the Impact shows seem to be. How they seem to scram all of this stuff into two hours. How about, simply, making the show a three hour show.

Benefit of having a three hour show?

More time for the X – Division

More time spent on developing feuds

I suppose you could say, why they can’t just improve the shows they do already. However, if they had that extra hour, in my opinion, the show would run allot smoother and the segments / matches even, won’t seem as “hurried”

Actually I think it was DC who touched base on this a while back. How the camera cuts back as soon as a match is over, or a segment is over. So this leaves little time for us to absorb exactly what had happened. So in that sense, it would help, I think?

I know, this is all hypothetical but what do you think of a three hour impact? Would it make better shows?

WWE seemingly can use two shows to spread things over now, however Impact, they need to make EVERY show count. In WWE, if Raw has a bad week, they can pick themselves up, if they have a good week on Smackdown. TNA don’t have that, so it sticks in the mind.

But anyway, back to the question. 3 Hour Impact. What do you think?

No. Two hours of TNA is enough.

Yes I agree, Two hours of TNA is plenty. The September 16 episode was entertaining with the exception of the main event (Sting vs Ric Flare.) Cant wait to see Bobby Roode take on Kurt Angle for the World heavyweight championship.:xyx

TNA doesn't need more TV time, they just need to learn how to use it properly. Currently, I genuinely think a 3 hour show will drive people away. It's too long, and frankly TNA are too crap to watch for 3 hours every week.

Besides, a 3 hour Impact would mean the live crowd would be even more shit because they'll be in the impact zone longer.

Your obviously getting confused with a company which likes to develop their high flyers and develop feuds with stars who haven't come from a rival company.

Three hours for a weekly show is too much for a good wrestling show (see; early WCW), let alone one as bad as Impact. It would only work to really expose their shortcomings even more than it already does.
