May 18, 201212 yr He's got major Fozzy tours over the summer, so at the very least he'll be taking a hiatus soon.
May 18, 201212 yr In the latter part of his career Jericho's responsibilities outside of the ring have grown so therefore he needs to have breaks every so often. I don't mind as it keeps his act fresh
May 18, 201212 yr Oh, to go on tour with his dingy little band? What an idiot, I dread to think how much money he must miss out on during his WWE hiatus' so he can feed his little ego of being a so called 'rockstar'.
May 18, 201212 yr Its not about money its just something he's passionate about. He's probably got more money than he knows what do do with anyway
May 18, 201212 yr Jericho is one of the greats and if taker, trips, and even brock work parttime why cant jericho. More power to the guy. And besides fozzy isnt half bad and the potential for a band to make money has no ceiling, the wwe u get paid what ur contract says.
May 18, 201212 yr I doubt Fozzy makes a profit, they tour small clubs when they're over here don't they, and when they play at festivals it's at like 11 in the morning. I wonder what the other band mates get up to when he decides he feels like having a wrestle again.
May 18, 201212 yr I actually dont mind that he only works short stints now and then takes off, because to me when Jericho has nothing to do he's insufferably boring. Like, he's one of those guys, like Foley in a way, who has to be super into an angle/character and using all of their creativity and stuff, and when they are they do great work, but then when they dont have a proper, creative angle and are just...being there, they come off as so disengaged in comparison and they just seem so dull. They can be creative, mad scientists, but they cant just be normal wrestlers. Now that the Punk angle that he came back for is over, I wouldnt miss him at all honestly.

Fozzy is a LITTLE bit bigger than you give them credit for...they aren't a small 'garage' deal playing at gigs, and most certainly have grown into a recognised force of their own on the music circuit. May 18, 201212 yr Yeah, Jericho makes more than enough money without the wwe to live comfortable for the rest of his life. Fozzy has only gotten bigger over the years and they're new album is supposed to be massive. If you think about it, we're actually lucky that Jericho even bothers with wrestling at all anymore. He doesn't need us, he does it because he still loves it. The extra money doesn't hurt either of course, let's be honest. But he's not struggling to survive without it at all.
May 18, 201212 yr Lol, I doubt he makes anywhere near as much in Fozzy as he does in WWE. The band haven't even made it yet, despite having fame, which means they're not good enough. As a wrestler, he's somewhat overrated, he's a better showman than he is a wrestler, ala Shawn Michaels.
May 18, 201212 yr Small time bands don't make much money, that's probably why he has to go back to wrestling every so often, I would imagine, to get some money together for a tour/album. Most of the time guys in that calibre of band work day jobs aswell, they probably just have one little van between them. It's not like they're selling out arenas or top of the charts or anything.

May 18, 201212 yr Jericho is worth close to twenty million and despite what you may think, Fozzy, with their major label contract, are not a small time band. http://www.celebritynetworth.com/richest-athletes/wrestlers/chris-jericho-net-worth/ http://www.fozzyrock.com/ In other words, shut the f*ck up about things you have no idea about instead of running your mouth unless you can back up your bullshit with facts.
May 18, 201212 yr A WWE.com article is alluding to Jericho leaving and people on the internet are taking it seriously? Sounds legit. EDIT: Also, Maxx is mad. Good job ADC. Edited May 18, 201212 yr by ViciousPrism
May 18, 201212 yr Yeah Jericho is the biggest worker there is. Anything he says, assume the opposite.
May 18, 201212 yr Yeah, most wrestlers of Jericho's calibre are worth around that much, i'm pretty sure most of his earnings are a product of his years of wrestling.
