OK, I'm quite new to programming, and here's the demo of the my first game - Munchman. Please download it, give it a try, and then post here (or email me at simondmason@aol.com) any commments/suggestions/critiscism,whatrever, I just want to be able to make it as good as possible, and the more feedback I get, the better it should be.

Thanks...

Re: Update!

OK, Munchan is going very well! These are the current features now:

-> 5 characters (including one secret character)

-> 20 levels

-> A Boss level

-> Now, if a scared monster is changing back, and you eat a special dot, then the monster will continue to be scared rather than remaining as changing and then back to normal.

-> High score table

-> Auto save every 5 levels - should it stay?

-> Three music tracks (one for menu/one for ingame levels/and one for boss level)

-> Cheats (which will be revealed in due course)

Simon, this is only my idea..........

Auto save, it should be:

For easy level: Every Level

For Medium Level: Every 2 levels

For Hard level: Every 5 levels

And if there is an "Very Hard" option, the auto save should be disabled to provide better gameplay for the player.

I was going to do your idea, but then I read on another forum that there shouldn't be any auto-save, because it would lose the challenge (ie.Bubble Bobble was 100 level game and didn't have a save), so there will be no save game feature now.
Is someone going to do a review of this game? :)
Do you mean a review of the full game? If so, there isn't going to be an official one no. However, there will be a reviews section on my site for people to send in their thoughts. For the demo, you might as well just play it yourself, ;)

Munchman is now free! I only had a few orders, so I thought I'd give it away, as I'd prefer to have lots of people download it and get lots of opinions and hopefully get a good reputation as a games maker, than earn a couple of quid and have no one see the hard work I've done. So, download it for free over at www10.brinkster.com/simonmasongames/index.htm

All I ask is you give feedback, either here or in an email.

Has anybody here downloaded the full version?
I just downloaded the full version and this time it works and its a pretty cool game Simon, Well done mate :xyx
