"Destination X" LIVE On "IMPACT WRESTLING"

18th July 2013

This Thursday night on SpikeTV at 9/8c, TNA presents the special "Destination X" LIVE on "IMPACT WRESTLING". For the first time ever, TNA brings the "Destination X" epic event to television, showcasing the high-flying superstars of the X-Division, LIVE from the Broadbent Arena in Louisville, Kentucky.

On the huge broadcast, Bully Ray of The Aces and Eights will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Chris Sabin. Each year, the X Division champion has the option to cash in their gold for a shot at the World Title, and Sabin is prepared for his chance at making history on Thursday night. On the biggest yearly stage for the X Division, can Sabin beat Bully Ray for the World Title on Thursday night in the main event? Don't miss it.

The battle lines are set between the new Main Event Mafia and the Aces and Eights, and all hell will break loose on Thursday night LIVE on "IMPACT WRESTLING". The fight is on between the two alliances, and the future of TNA hangs in the balance. The war begins on Thursday night between the Mafia and the Aces.

The "Bound For Glory Series" continues on Thursday's special "IMPACT WRESTLING", as Austin Aries will battle Bobby Roode in a rematch from the "Destination X" 2012 event. Former tag team partners will collide with "Bound For Glory Series" points up for grabs.

Plus, Qualifying Matches will take place on Thursday night as X Division stars from the Past, Present and Future battle to determine a NEW X Division Champion.

All this and much more on Thursday's special "Destination X" LIVE on "IMPACT WRESTLING" at 9/8c on SpikeTV. Don't miss one of the biggest "IMPACT WRESTLING" events of the year, from the Broadbent Arena in Louisville, Kentucky!

So it just occurred to me that this is on now, so I'm watching. Mainly because Bully/Sabin intrigues me as a match.

So wow. Petey and Sonjay are completely unrecognisable. Could not have picked them out of a lineup. What generic goofs.

American ads are hilariously OTT. And I now really want a Double Steak Quesadilla.

Magnus...*sigh*

If the Mafia came out to fight, why are they in suits?

It was great that Rampage's first physicality in TNA was backstage in a room where the cameras couldn't see it. And now they've kidnapped Kurt Angle. I see.

I'm not trying to be snarky, by the way, although it must appear so. I'm just commentating to pass the time here, and nothing particularly interesting is happening.

TRENT?! TRENT!

F*ck him being stuck in the sh*tty X Division, but I cannot begrudge Trent Barreta landing a full-time gig in wrestling. Dude is legit.

Mickie rating the ladder match a solid **1/2 was hilarious. So glad Mickie is getting a chance to cut loose after so long.

Still, as good as Mickie is right now, the absolute best thing would be Gail taking the title to drop to Taryn at BFG.

Alright, match time.

Well...OK.

First of all, the first few minutes of that match RULED. If there's one thing Bully can nail, it is the Bully Ray vs Plucky Underdog match. LOVED the opening.

Everything after that was kind of weird though. Aces out, then the Mafia comes out, including a Kurt Angle who JUST ESCAPED BEING KIDNAPPED, and they...do nothing? Having them all stand 6 feet away from each other the whole match and not fight looked absurd. The match itself descended into an extended squash that plodded on and that Bully took far too much of. Should have realised that he was losing at that point because they made Sabin look really weak here, selling and selling FOREVER and then hitting one lucky cheap shot to win what has recently been a pretty protected World Title. I'm happy for Sabin but I did not like how this went down at all.

Trent? and Rockstar Spud are the future of the X-Division?

Well f*ck, now I've got to start watching again. At least the X-Division stuff and Sabin as champ anyways.

Damnit TNA.

Don't worry, the next impact taping will sort you back to normality.

didn't sabin give up the belt?

He meant it as two separate points. The X Division, and Sabin as (world) champ.

If that's what you meant.
