This is a massive story today as it seems his agent has said he may leave City in the Summer.

 

Dimitry Seluk claims City have not made Toure feel valued and appreciated, especially on his 31st birthday which clashed with a party in Abu Dhabi to celebrate City's title triumph.

 

Seluk told The Sun: "There's a big possibility Yaya will leave this summer.

 

"What happened at his birthday meant the club don't care about him. It was proof.

 

"In a normal team, his team-mates and club would at least give him good wishes.

 

"He's very upset and he started thinking of leaving the club. And he will leave if things carry on like this.

 

"It's not a question of money or contract, believe me. He has everything he needs. For Yaya what is the most important thing is human relationships.

 

"When your best worker has his birthday from time to time it's not bad to shake his hand. To make him feel valued and appreciated. They don't give any attention to Yaya."

 

Toure signed a new four-year deal with City last season.

Yaya Toure is upset with Manchester City, and will consider leaving them because they scheduled a dinner that celebrates their Premier league triumph on the same day as his birthday? Am I reading that correctly?

According to SSN it was the fact that not one of the managers or players acknowledged him, shook his hand and wished him happy birthday. The Man City supporter head guy think his name is Mike just said when i'm at work they dont wish me happy birthday either. Grow up and just send the load of cash you got for signing a new contract last season. Made me laugh a lot I love SSN especially when they are sarcastic.

His agent has just been on Sky Sports News attempting to explain the situation, saying the most words that can be physically said without actually saying anything. I've never seen anything quite so pathetic.

 

Agent: "What's that? A Birthday Cake? But... but... Roberto Carlos got a Bugatti! Hmph!"

 

They pay you £250k a week man!

 

Honestly, if Yaya ends up leaving City over this, I'll have lost all respect for him.
