I love José ' s mind games over Shaw it's totally crap he was talking but hey ho. Chelsea couldn't afford 100k my ass. So he is either admitting United are a richer club or just pissed we out bid them. 100k in this environment is nothing besides Chelsea just signed someone to 80k which is still high and spent 50m on torres. LVG didn't rise to it.

I think you've completely misunderstood what Mourinho actually said. He never said he couldn't afford Shaw's wages, he said to do so would have destabilised the club because, if Shaw's worth £100k a week, what should you be paying Hazard, or Oscar, or Matic, or Courtois?

“Because when you pay that much to a 19-year-old kid – a good player, fantastic player – but when you pay that amount of money, the next day, we would have had players knocking on our door. They would have been saying, ‘How is it possible I play 200 games for this club, won this and that, yet a 19-year-old comes here and gets more money than I get?’

No mention of not being able to afford it.

As for Pogba being a Chelsea fan, it comes from possibly the greatest subtle transfer plea in history (if that's what it was). One of his teammates in the French national team, on the way to the World Cup, took of a screen shot of Pogba's laptop as we was playing Championship Manager, as Chelsea, buying himself.

His point wasn't to do with that 100k is nothing those players you quoted should be on 100k because that is the premium on decent players. The only reason he said is because he didn't sign Shaw roman could have afforded it but because Chelsea are not like United they could fail FFP rules. He is just bitter
What are you on about? You know you literally just said two posts ago that Chelsea could easily afford £100k in wages, and now they can't because of FFP?
They could afford it. But also in José comments he mentions FFP Chelsea doesn't make a lot of money they are no United despite the large pockets of roman. But José comments was more to do with mind games and bitterness of not signing shaw

So he was lying, but telling the truth, but playing mind games?

They could afford it.

He never said he couldn't afford Shaw's wages

Just to save me repeating myself.

I haven't said it well enough. Allow me to start again. He only said what said because he is playing mind games due to bitterness of not signing shaw who they wanted to replace shaw. It's clear they could have paid 100k. FFP is more of an excuse than anything due to them signing a player who they pay 80k for. Also the risk on his team would have been nil as wages always go up in football not matter the age and English players are a premium. José doesn't like to lose

But FFP wasn't even half of what he said. You've mentioned Chelsea being vulnerable to FFP in the last two posts. And if he's just playing mind games, why didn't he just sign him seeing that that's where Shaw wanted to go?

Or, maybe, he was asked a question, and gave his answer, that he thought a player that everyone in the universe thinks is over-valued was over-valued .

I meant cole but app would let me edit

He tried to sign the player he couldn't José is very well known for mind games yes 27m is alot but 100k in this age isn't
He also wanted to go united he said that before any other club before the world cup

BECAUSE HE WANTED MORE MONEY THAN CHELSEA WERE WILLING TO PAY, WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT JOSE SAID. JESUS CHRIST.

Are you honestly saying Chelsea agreed £100k a week was fine, £27million was fine, and then just said "Ah, f*ck it" and went home, or are you saying they tried to sign him, offered all that money and Shaw rejected them because he preferred United for personal reason? If either of those are the case, do you have any evidence for either that exists outside of your imagination?

then he is just bitter because they were outbid it was jose being José
I don't know why you bother Hancock
then he is just bitter because they were outbid it was jose being José

Why is he being bitter by admitting he was outbid!? He openly said he was outbid! Every post you say something completely the opposite to the last one, and now it's finally come around to just saying exactly what Jose said in the first place!

Sorry dave, it's too late. I went in, and now I literally have to kill myself because all sense of reason, or human interaction has been undermined to the point that I can never again be part of a civilised society.

It's trying to debate a ham.

I am not sure why its hard to understand

Jose wanted him

Jose couldn't get him

Jose is pissed about not getting him

Jose whats to play mind games to unsettle the boy

Jose is bitter so he said what he said

For the love of God Jay!

Yes Jose Wanted him.

No Jose was not prepared to pay his wages.

Jose could not care less he wants stability in his squad and not all out warfare which would have happened had he signed the lad.

Jose could not care less he just wants everyone to know how stupid Man United are for paying that much.

You are the Bentner of TWO always convinced you are better than everyone else. You might as well demand the same wage or in TWO equivalent a mod spot because although you are a deluded fool you seem to think you are the only person who is right.

Last summer Bendtner blamed Arsenal for his inability to find a club. Despite the fact that Arsenal agreed a fee with a handful of clubs for the player his wage demands at the time proved prohibitive. In his mind Arsenal should have waived the transfer fee – clearly so he could pocket it.

Now there are reports that, in addition to asking for £40k per week from Eintracht Frankfurt, Bendtner also wanted £30k for every point the club gained in the league.

In case you had not heard Bentner's stupid demands.

For the love of God Jay!

Its nothing to do with him though its uniteds business who they pay and how much they pay

Yeah, because no one at Man Utd ever talked about any other team but their own....

Summer Transfer Window 2014

Alex Ferguson never played mind games or moaned about other teams, ever.

Its nothing to do with him though its uniteds business who they pay and how much they pay

You would have a point if Mourinho was asked a question about Man Utd or responded with an answer about Man Utd.

Cheers!
