Elite British Wrestling brought their calendar for 2014 to a close at Winter Wars, with "Dangerous" Danny Debris winning the Ringsideworld.com Elite Series and "Solid" John Green proving his mettle against all comers to finally lift the EBW Heavyweight Championship. But if anyone was naive enough to think that simply pinning the other guy in the ring was enough to settle scores and ensure that everyone goes home happy, bear in mind that Debris immediately followed his victory by shockingly aligning himself with EBW General Manager, "The Earl" Bob Shoiure and disdaining his former allies. Similarly, John Green won his new title by pinning long-time rival, "The Iceman" Sam Goodison, and so renewing the bitterness between the two, ensuring that revenge will be on the Iceman's mind from this point on.

New Frontiers will take place on Saturday 20th February 2015, and marks Elite British Wrestling's debut at the Queens Road Social Club, Queens Road, Sheffield S2 4DG.

Doors open at 6:00pm and the ring bell will sound at 6:30pm.

Come along on the day for an afternoon and evening of family-friendly wrestling action.

Elite British Wrestling Catch Championship Match (Evening Card): "The Iceman" Sam Goodison © vs "The Mean Machine" Mark Sanders

In the chaotic and tumultuous scramble for the ultimate prize in EBW that was the final six-way match to decide the new EBW Heavyweight Champion at Winter Wars 2014, both the Iceman and the Mean Machine fought tooth and nail against the other competitors, entering what some have sited as career best performances; but in the end, neither was the man to lift the belt on the night.

Now Sanders has been named as the first official challenger for Goodison's Catch title on an official EBW card in 2015, a chance to turn around the short streak of losses that the Mean Machine has built up over the space of the past few months. Has the veteran's time spent in the tag division as one half of the Mechanical Animals seen him lose his normally formidable presence in singles competition? New Frontiers will see that question answered.

Goodison may have failed to become Heavyweight Champion, but he still retains the Catch belt and has been the very definition of a fighting champion. Many would suggest that Sanderson's experience will serve him well in this encounter, but they would do well to remember the Iceman's reputation as a cerebral tactician and that the years under Sander's belt also represent time that he has watched, studied and measured by the canny Catch Champion.

Elite British Wrestling Heavyweight Championship Open Challenge (Matinee and Evening Cards): "Solid" John Green © vs Battle Royal Winner

In keeping with the gruelling and truly epic manner in which he defeated all other challengers to be crowned the new Elite British Wrestling Heavyweight Champion and the first ever Triple Crown Champion in EBW history, "Solid" John Green will defend his title, not once, but twice at New Frontiers 2015.

But as there is no named number one contender to his title (let alone a second), the EBW Championship Committee has been forced to book a twenty man Battle Royal in order to select a worthy challenger. So that means there will be one such Battle Royal for each of the championship matches, one on the matinee card and another on the evening card the very same day.

Either Green will triumph over the two - as of now unknown - challengers, proving himself a truly adaptable and formidable champion, or he will go down in the annals of EBW as a Heavyweight Champion who scaled the heights of achievement and then came crashing back down to earth in record time.

In addition, should Green's first defence end in disaster and he lose the title to the challenger on the matinee show, the newly crowned champion will still be required to face the challenge of the winner from the second Battle Royal on the evening show. So New Frontiers could potentially see not one, but two new Heavyweight Champions crowned in the space of mere hours.

Tag Team Match (Matinee Card): Sudden Impact vs The C.H.A.P.S.

While every team in the EBW tag division wants desperately to take the belts away from The Hot Blooded Males, that doesn't mean there is no room for grudges and rivalries to form between the tandems chasing that chance, and no two teams have butted heads in the pursuit of that goal more often in the past few months than the rookie sensations Sudden Impact and the more refined team of the C.H.A.P.S. (Cambridge Honours Advanced Pugilism Society).

No two teams could be more different in terms of approach and character in the ring than the reckless energy of Sudden Impact and the considered pace of the C.H.A.P.S., but the fact that the former have been awarded the chance to challenge the champions on the evening card for New Frontiers could be enough to light a fire beneath the latter and push them to new heights in this encounter.

Either Sudden Impact will enter their championship match later in the same day on a wave of momentum from victory, or else the C.H.A.P.S. will derail them and make a statement to the effect of their being the team which should be stepping up to challenge for the Tag Team titles themselves.

Singles Match (Evening Card): "The King of Elite" Dangerous Danny Debris vs "The Real Deal" Kris Ace

Both Dangerous Danny Debris and Kris Ace were amongst those involved in the frenetic scramble for the vacant EBW Heavyweight Championship at Winter Wars 2014, but though neither came away with the ultimate prize, a new and rather disturbing side to the character of the former was revealed after he seized the crown an sceptre to be proclaimed the winner of the Ringsideworld.com Elite Series.

The formerly cocky and fun-loving Debris was ruthless in the punishment of his foes on that occasion, winning at any cost and then shocking the fans in attendance by embracing his long-time adversary, "The Earl" Bob Shoire and proclaiming himself the "King of the Elite", the same reckless hatred for anyone in his path turned his time in the six-man match for the title into a chaotic brawl for supremacy.

Kris Ace has the dubious honour of being the first man to face Debris after this extreme change in attitude, and under normal circumstances, this match would simply represent the meeting of two former champions and a chance to see their skills pitted against one another. But now that Debris has aligned himself with The Earl, who knows what underhanded methods and questionable tactics the pair will choose to employ?

3-Way Match (Evening Card): Joey D vs "The Romanian Sniper" Radu Bulat vs "Fiery" Aiden Sparx

Though neither Aiden Sparx nor Joey D made it to the six-man main event at Winter Wars 2014, anyone in attendance for their respective matches would have to agree that both of the young contenders succeeded in turning their performances into nothing short of a showcase as to why they represent the future of Elite British Wrestling and are names to watch through the course of 2015 and beyond.

Radu Bulat, on the other hand, arguably has nothing to prove and no critics to answer after the string of main-events in which he was involved throughout 2014 and the main-event quality of every match in which he competed...save, perhaps for the fact that he has not yet managed to take the important step of seizing championship gold during his time in EBW.

On paper, this should be a chance for Bulat to reaffirm his dominance, but in the relentlessly paced action of a 3-Way match and against opponents as quick and hungry for success as Sparx and Joey D, nothing can be taken for granted.

Singles Match: "Smooth" Sammy Smooth vs "The Original" Jacob Page

On the face of things, it must seem like there are no clouds in the sky for a man like "Smooth" Sammy Smooth. Young, handsome, gifted in the wrestling ring and amazingly popular with the EBW fans, what could there possibly be to get in the way of the rookie making 2015 a year in which he continues his winning ways and starts to climb up the rankings?

Perhaps one such obstacle could be "The Original" Jacob Page, one of the largest and most dominating forces in EBW?

Throughout the past year, Page tangled with the biggest and best names on the roster, taking many of them to the limits of their abilities and even chalking up victories over the likes of "Solid" John Green. But while Green went on to become the new EBW Heavyweight Champion, Page feels that he was left out in the cold and never given the rewards that his performance deserved.

Will Smooth slip the clutches of The Original, or will he become only the first victim of Page's quest for the recognition that he feels he is owed?

Singles Match (Matinee Card): "The Romanian Sniper" Radu Bulat vs Caleb Crow

After his reign as one half of the EBW Tag Team Champions in 2014, Caleb Crow will begin 2015 with a return to the singles ranks and in doing so hits the ground running with a match against, arguably, one of the most dangerous and deadly competitors on the roster, "The Romanian Sniper" Radu Bulat.

Both men have a point to prove and a standing to protect when it comes to the ultra-competitive singles division in Elite British Wrestling, where a victory over the right opponent can see a wrestler catapulted into contention for a title and a loss be literally disastrous in terms of their being passed over for such opportunities in the future.

Aerial flair and technical acumen collide in this match, but in the end there can be only one winner.
