This should be a really good DVD, any idea of the matches that will be going on the other discs?

I don't think the match listing has been finalised yet.
Nice idea for a DVD and it should be a good watch if they aren't afraid to push people on their thoughts of Owen's death. I know some blame Vince, so it'll be interesting to hear their side and maybe Vince will get a chance to answer it and put his opinion forward. Owen seemed like a nice guy so hopefully there's plenty of good stories in it too.

It's almost a cliché at this point, but he is probably the only wrestler from that era that no-one has a bad word to say about.
Can't believe it's took this long to make something like this. You only ever hear good things about him.

It's not for WWE's lack of trying to get something into production.
One of the best guys to have never been WWE champ. Who knows what might have been.

MARTHA HART “HANDCUFFED” WWE ON OWEN DVD SAYS BRET

- Bret Hart is not optimistic about the quality of the upcoming WWE DVD on his brother Owen, set for release this December, simply because Martha Hart has put a lot of restrictions on WWE. In an interview with The LAW, Hart said that while he’s looking forward to it, he doubts it’s going to be a great DVD as Martha, Owen’s widow, “handcuffed” WWE by not allowing them to use any photos from the past or footage from prior joining WWE. He also said that during the sit down interview he taped with WWE for the DVD, the questions he was asked sort of gave away how short this life story on Owen will be. The former WWE champion said Owen “would turn in his grave” if he knew what Martha is doing to erase his career from history and called her bitter and selfish. “The whole thing was so bullshit that sure, there's an Owen Hart DVD, but it's the shits,” Bret said, and while he acknowledged WWE’s good intentions, he blamed Martha for not allowing WWE to go all out on the documentary. In another recent interview, Bret hoped that Owen would be inducted in the Hall of Fame next year in Dallas, Texas, and he will be disappointed if he’s not. He said that if it doesn’t happen, he will not show up to any more Hall of Fames until it happens or the Hart Foundation gets inducted.

I get that Martha Hart is still upset / grieving, but she's in danger of causing Owen Hart to be nothing more than a footnote in wrestling, where the only thing newer fans will ever know is that he died during a show.

I dont think she cares what wrestling fans think to be fair. I dunno, if I lost my other half and my kids lost their dad due to a stupid stunt on a wrestling show I cant imagine I'd ever have any inclination to want to have anything to do with them or help them in any way profit from my other half ever again.

On a side-note, Bret Hart is at it again, not just on this subject but on pretty much a whole mess of wrestling related topics and he is, without question, THE most bitter old f*cker in the history of wrestling at this point. Reading or listening to his interviews has become unbearable.

The WWE HoF is a weird one. At this point, there is no criteria for getting in apart from having some sort of at least semi-memorable career so its hard to are who does or doesnt go in and its easier to just enjoy it for what it is, a bit of nostalgic fun on TV before WM. If it was a real HoF though, Owen definitely doesnt deserve to be in.
