New (confirmed) characters for Season 2 are -:

Jay Garrick (played by Teddy Sears)

Wally West (played by Keiynan Lonsdale)

Patty Spivot (played by Shantel VanSanten)

Albert Rothstein / Atom Smasher (played by Adam Copeland; most likely a one-off)

Henry Hewitt / Tokamak (played by Demore Barnes

Jesse Quick (played by Violett Beane)

Vandal Savage (played by Casper Crump)

Carter Hall / Hawkman (played by Falk Hentschel)

Lewis Snart (played by Michael Ironside)

A character based on Doctor Light (no casting confirmed as of yet)

Also, the real Dr. Harrison Wells will be in the mix, most likely as a different version from Earth 2, while Cisco and Snow are strongly rumoured to finally become Vibe and Killer Frost over the course of the season.

This has been great so far and they topped Grodd in the "there's no way they can live-action that character" with...

[spoiler=Yeah; they went there!]KING SHARK!!

I am catching up with this now. Along with Arrow S4. Love the nod to New 52 with the amount of wormholes. Currently watching episode 3.

The last 10mins of this week's episode (US pace) is PHENOMENAL!!

[spoiler=ZOOM]Zoom is here and he CAUGHT A LIGHTNING BOLT WITH HIS BARE HANDS AND THREW IT BACK AT BARRY!!!

That's the money shot, but the rest of the 10mins are stunningly brutal.

Agreed, this season is so much better than the first, and I loved the first. :lol

I have episode 6 to watch then I think I am up to date. Running out of shows to watch at the moment. Only supergirl and gotham to catch up on.

I loved the ending to episode 5. S2 has been amazing so far.

I loved the ending to episode 5.
Then you are going to lose your proverbial shit for the end of episode 6.

All of the comic-book TV shows have been great for their current seasons.

I was going to watch it last night but I left my tablet at work. was so disappointed when I got home. Look forward to watching ep6 then.

And it looks great.

Also, the big two-episode two-show crossover is in 2wks, with the first appearance of [spoiler=debut villain]Vandal Savage.

Sweet holy moses ep 6 finale!!!!! Trying to watch ep7 but its struggling at the moment.

Just got done watching episode 13 and damn, what a cliff hanger.

Barry, Cisco (who is embracing the Vibe character) and Earth Two Wells go to Earth Two and whilst travelling through you see a glimpse of Supergirl... does that mean she is on Earth Two and the movie universe is based in that universe and this explains the lack of continuity between the TV and Movie universes by DC or does it hint at possible later crossover? After all there has been no mention in Arrow or Flash of Superman as far as I know, nor Batman and Gotham even as a city.

Also we finally saw Killer Frost who is on Earth Two, but does that mean we won't get her on Earth One?

[spoiler=Response to Gringo's spoiler]What we glimpsed while going through the breach wasn't just Earth 2 stuff; it was a genuine look across the multiverse.

Supergirl (and as such, Superman) exist in a totally separate reality, especially apparent as Superman has been doing his thing for years during the time-frame of Supergirl. Batman is a little trickier as he always works from the shadows and could be just a myth.

Also, on Legends of Tomorrow, Rip talks about having seen Men of Steel and Dark Knights fall, confirming they at least exist in a time-line on Arrow / Flash, but could either mean another 'verse or that in this time-line Superman and Batman don't arrive until some time in the future.

Arrow has pretty much confirmed the existence of Batman (and The Joker) with Harley Quinn being shown in a cameo.

The way it's being touted at the moment is that Flash / Arrow / LoT are one universe, Earth 2 from Flash is another, Supergirl is a third and the movies will be a fourth, with the writers / showrunners refusing to rule out a Crisis-like event that brings them all together, meaning we have two different versions of Barry Allen as Flash onscreen.

Also, it should be noted that also seen in the jump to Earth 2 was 90s Flash, confirming that in at least one continuity / 'verse, Henry Allen became the Flash (and also explains why Mark Hamill and Amanda Pays returned as their characters from the 90s show).

What this potentially means is that every DC television show that has ever aired, including Batman '66, potentially exists as a separate universe within an established multiverse continuity. Throwing that open, you then have Smallville in the mix (leading to the mooted Tom Welling-as-Superman in Supergirl) as well as Christopher Reeves' films, Brandon Routh's turn as Superman and Michael Keaton / Val Kilmer / George Clooney (who were the same version of Batman) Christian Bale and Ben Affleck as different iterations of Batman across the multiverse.

If done right, this could potentially lead to a huge amount of cross-overs.

TV Flash is already confirmed for Supergirl, so he will cross a breach to at least one more Earth.

I want to live in a world where some semblance of Batman '66 crosses over with something in the modern DC universe. I would die an extremely happy man if that was to occur.

Smallville would have to be a different universe to the current Supergirl simply because we already have an established Jimmy Olsen, Kat Grant and not to mention Kara-El herself, so any appearance by Welling as Superman would in itself have to be a crossover but then again if we are getting Earth-1 Flash appearing in, lets call it an Earth-3 show in Supergirl then we will have to have some sort of infinite crisis event at the end of Arrow Season 4/Flash Season 2/Supergirl Season 1 and LoT Season 1, probably created either by the fight against Zoom/Vandal Savage/Dark or who knows... maybe even all three?

Or maybe the Krypton plan for humanity is to destroy all of humanity across the known multi-verse and they plan to create a breach (or several) that will lead to Vandal possibly wiping out everyone across all time streams...

Either way it just makes all four current DC series much watch TV on top of their existing excellent main story arcs.

I have just watch the 1st ep of earth 2. It was glorious. I cant wait for the next episode.

Apparently the identity of zoom will be revealed in the next couple of episodes.
