Is anyone watching this? I am just starting the 2nd half of season 4. Loving the concept and how they tie everything together. Really well acted and a good dose of cheese.

It is my secret pleasure to watch with the Missus. I'm up to date on it and awaiting the new season and really enjoy Lana Parilla as the Evil Queen Regina, Robert Carlyle as ol' 'Slitskin and Jennifer Morrison, who've I've been a big fan of since the pilot of House as Emma Swan.

It is getting a bit stretched in how they are interlinking things and grasping a little but the acting, pacing and the fact I love Jennifer Morrison makes up for it.

OUaT is great and the spin-off (Once Upon a Time in Wonderland) was a fun watch too. The cast are all (apart from Henry, who gets on my goat) spot-on and it's nice when a favourite character of yours turns up.

Also, the imagination on show is sometimes breathtaking; the Dr. Frankenstein-centric episode in particular.

I'm really interested in where they go after the closing moments of last season and this year they have Merida from Brave, with the casting being (at least visually) perfect.

I watch it on my own as my missus thinks its a ridiculas premise for a show.

The dr frankenstein episode was that the one shot in black and white?

Yeah; he comes from the Land Without Color and it was just perfectly integrated.
I remember the episode but not the details. Doesnt Rumple appear to him in colour whilst everything else was black and white? Did he leave that land and would he have appeared in the enchanted forest in black and white?

This show is awesome in my book, like already said the casting is amazing and I was happy to see Kristin Bauer Van Straten to get a spot on the show also, been a huge fan of hers from true blood also.

Yeah I agree with Henry though that kid really annoys me.

I think with the interest in the show though it can keep going for a long time.

People like Aladdin and jasmine could turn up with jafar returning from the spin off.

Christopher robin is another possibility.

They could bring in others like the three musketeers, goldilocks and even Mary Poppins if needed.

With the spin off show not returning I really want Sophie Lowe back as Alice though, and they could bring others in from there also.

To narrow down my long winded reply (apologies) I think there is so many more seasons and characters they could bring in as long as ratings and interest stay strong.

What other characters would you guys like to see added to the show?

Well, with it being Disney characters, as unlikely as it is they'd be used, characters from Marvel and Star Wars could show up.

I doubt Marvel or Star Wars would allow that to happen as it would dampen the inpact of future movies. Also I dont think it is owned by Disney is it? It would be great if they mentioned them though. Have Charming say he heard of a sword made of light or something.

Henry is annoying but he seems less so as he is getting older. I love the characters/actors who turn up in it from stuff I have watched in the past. True blood (maleficent and Baelfire), House (Emma), Breaking Bad (Genie/Mirror). It always gives the 'hey its them!' vibe.

Disney basically own both Star Wars and Marvel (they are the reason we have a new SW film this year).

I know disney own marvel and star wars (the rights anyways) but do they also own once upon a time?

Just finished s4. Holy crap.......

All of the characters are based off Disney characters or Disney versions of those characters. I don't know how much (if any) actual control over the show they have though.

I have just looked into it and it is an ABC production which is owned by Disney so they do own the show.

On a differnt look Henry does also read a comic which I believe is Marvel Ultimate Wolverine vs Hulk. So Marvel has appeared in the show. In the S4 finale Henry also mentions 'the old Wookie prisoner trick' so they have mentioned them both.

Also didnt realise the writers worked on Lost and there is a lot of nods to it in the show. The clock tower is stuck at 8:15 (Oceanic flight 815 is the one they were on) as well as a lot of cast members are in it.

Looking into it further it would appear Charming has mentioned Asgard and Mjolnir was featured in an episode? No idea which episodes though.

Like above when you mentioned the clock stuck at 8:15 and the the oceanic flight 815, I really love stuff like that, I wonder how many other gems like that have been in the show and a lot may have just gone unnoticed.

Season 5 has just started and is on netflix the day after the US. Just watched the 1st episode and loved it.

Gonna call it now and say merlin is in excaliber.

Freaking love this show. Now to watch gotham.

The first episode of the new season was great and The Dark One's dagger being the broken end of Excalibur was a genius twist in the tale.
I really love how they have managed to tie everything together in a coherant way. Also glad they have rumple being enchanted forest rumple with the manical giggle and over the top flamboyance.

The fiance has dominated the tv with this show. Binge watching episode after episode.

She loves it but not my cup of tea. But I can see why people like it.

Netflix dropped 2 episodes last week for some reason. Cant find an explanation as to why though. Brilliant season so far. Really enjoying it.
kinda roughly figured out the double episode last week was due to no episode this week as thanksgiving.
