TWO SUSPENDED OVER WELLNESS PROGRAM VIOLATION

 

- WWE today announced that two of its Superstars have been suspended for 60 days following a second violation of the company’s Talent Wellness Program policy. The Social Outcasts will have one less member running around as Adam Rose is one of the two suspended. It’s not known when he got the first hit. The other suspended Superstar is Konnor, one half of The Ascension. His first suspension dates back to 2007. His match on Smackdown in the WWE Tag Team title tournament will be his last one for a while.

STAMFORD, Conn. – In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Raymond Leppan (Adam Rose) and Ryan Parmeter (Konnor) each for 60 days effective immediately for a second violation of the company’s policy.

 

This isn't a major blow to the main roster considering both Konnor and Adam Rose's positions on the roster, but it's worth pointing out that both Konnor and Rose are now part of the 60 day club of Wellness Policy violators. This means that, if they get one more violation, they will be released from the company.

So Adam Rose and Konnor got suspended for violating the wellness policy. Now that could simply mean that they took certain cold medicines that haven't been "okayed" by the WWE, or it could mean that they were taking all manor of things. The wellness policy seems to be very strict.

 

Anyway, I wish them both the very best and I hope they take these 60 days and think about what they need to do to become more relevant. They're both talented and have the ability to really rise, especially Adam Rose! We saw that in NXT! I hope they both come back better and with a game plan of getting to the top either with their teams or as singles competitors.

 

Now.. My other issue with this is slightly more of a selfish matter.. Adam Rose was in my Fantasy Wrestling League and I was wondering what the Admins plan to do about the people who have Konnor and Adam in their lists.. We didn't foresee this happening and we obviously don't want to lose points due to an unpredictable circumstance that was entirely not our fault. Some of us wanna win and every point matters when you're in 124th place.. ;)

I'm sure Booker T, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, Ziggler, Edge, Mr. Kennedy (Kennedy), Jeff Hardy, Umaga, Rob Van Dam and Kurt Angle will be thrilled you think of them as "small fish" in the WWE pond.

As others have said it's just badluck - we wouldn't do anything in this situation. Looking at the picks, not a single person has selected Konnor and 7 out of 293 have selected Adam Rose. Although of the 7 - you're not one of them?

In the last season I had people who were Injured and I didn't complain, it comes with the game, the same as football fantasy leagues.

Things that have screwed me over in FWL. CM Punk having a huff and leaving. Daniel Bryan getting injured & whiterabbit is worried about Adam Rose (and he hasnt even got him in his team WTF).

Ah. I see what happened. I changed him during the last draft but chopped and changed so many times that I forgot that I'd decided on swapping him for Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews. Haha.

 

This is my first time doing the FWL and I'm not entirely familiar with all of the rules yet. To be honest I didn't even know that something like FWL existed! But I'm very happy that it does and I didn't mean to offend anybody. I'm sorry if I did.

 

I kinda like that you can't change anything actually. Makes much more sense.

I was not going to respond to my suspension but I feel I have to. I have two sons that will one day read that news about there daddy and a sister that died from complications related to a life long battle with heroin.

 

So I feel the absolute need and right to respond and let the truth be known.

 

I am pretty sure this response will meet nowhere near the publicity that my suspension did and that this response is tantamount to career suicide.

But I feel for my sons my sister and rest of my family... you the Wwe universe have the right to the know the truth over my suspension and what it was for.

 

I will also quote my Dr in my response as he was as shocked and appalled by this suspension.

 

I can say right now I did not do anything knowingly wrong and was taking prescribed medication that my Dr and I followed all the correct protocol on.

 

My actual response and Doctors response will be coming soon. So before you judge, know the facts.

 

My family and I are still collecting ourselves from this blow. I have zero anger or animosity against the WWE. But feel the administrators over the WWE Welnness policy were just simply not right in taking this action.

 

But I feel facts are the facts and my family and I will will be the ones putting our lives back together after this mess.

That sounds quite harsh with his family history. I can't see WWE liking the fact he went public with it though as it essentially undermines the whole Wellness policy.

It's refreshing to hear a guy actually speak out against perceived wrongdoing by WWE. So many guys in WWE just keep their opinions to themselves and do as they're told. I guess Adam Rose figures he doesn't have much to lose at this point.

 

I also had this thought - Has anyone ever tried to appeal a WWE Wellness Policy suspension?

ADAM ROSE ARRESTED IN FLORIDA AND CHARGED WITH TWO COUNTS

 

- Adam Rose, the WWE Superstar who is currently serving a 60 day suspension for failing the Wellness Program policy, is now facing more trouble after he was arrested this morning at 1:30 in Florida. Rose was booked two hours later at the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and charged with two counts, for tampering with a witness and battery domestic violence. The arrest was listed at his house located at 18004 Sparrows Nest Drive. In the Sheriff’s report it was listed that he’s a sports entertainer working for WWE. WWE SUSPENDS ADAM ROSE INDEFINITELY, MORE DETAILS ABOUT HIS ARREST

 

- WWE has suspended Adam Rose indefinitely following his arrest this morning stemming from an argument with his wife. “WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, and per our policy, Raymond Leppan has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest,” a statement on WWE.COM, which also listed his counts - a felony and misdemeanor. Meanwhile, TMZ adds to the story that Rose was thrown in jail after he allegedly grabbed his wife by her face during an argument at their home. The report said that he pulled his wife toward him and screamed at her and then listed the reason for the argument as martial problems. His wife Cassandra called 911 during the incident to report her husband to the authorities however he took the phone away from her, which added the tampering with a witness charge along with the domestic violence felony count. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office website says that he’s still in jail and held without bail until he is arraigned in court.

ADAM ROSE APPEARS IN FRONT OF JUDGE, WIFE BEGS FOR MERCY

 

- WWE Superstar Adam Rose appeared in front of a judge this morning in Florida wearing an orange jail jumpsuit and had an unlikely supporter pleading on his behalf - his wife. TMZ.COM reports that the wife begged the judge to go easy on her husband despite the domestic violence charge. She said that the two have a special needs son and requires the attention of both of his parents. His wife Cassandra said that he didn’t hurt her and there were no bruises on her and police even took photos “for no reason.” The judge originally wanted to put a restraining order on him which would have meant Rose would not be allowed to be anywhere near his wife however he took under the consideration the statements from his wife and agreed to let him off on a $1,000 bond. The judge ordered him to not have violent contact with her again and told him he needs to attend counseling once a week until he’s due back in court in June where he then has to present evidence of his improvement. As of this moment Rose is still in jail according to online records however he is expected out later today. ADAM ROSE RELEASED FROM JAIL

 

- Adam Rose was released from jail after posting a $1,000 bond following the judge’s decision earlier today. Rose was released at 4:10PM according to the jail records and judging from what happened earlier today he’s going back home thanks to the help from his wife who pleaded with the judge to let him return home. He remains indefinitely suspended from WWE and will probably stay like that until the case is officially over. He’s already serving a 60 day suspension for a Wellness Program violation and it’s likely that he will be cut once everything is over and done with.

A pretty sad situation all round.

Apparently Adam Rose requested (and was granted) his release.

I am assuming he had a tap on the shoulder along the lines of "look, if you request your release then there's a chance that when all this has died down you can come back. If you stick it out and it goes pear shaped in court we'll have to fire you and then there's no way back.".
