This year has been rubbish for celebrity deaths. I was never a big fan but realise he did contribute to the music industry. No more purple rain. RIP Prince.

There was a snippet in the paper today that said there have been twice as many celebrity obits in 2016 than there was for the same time-frame in 2015.

What a horrid year. I was sat at work and it broke over the radio - he thought he had the flu and had been at home resting according to the news and then bang... 57 years old, that's no age at all really.

I mean Victoria Wood yesterday, Bowie, Corbett, Rickman, Shandling, Chyna... is there going to be anyone left soon?

RIP Prince. I hope you get to party like its 1999 up there.

You can add Percy Sledge to the list.
That was last year.
We can, however, add Michelle McNamara (writer and wife of Patton Oswalt) to the list; dead at 46.

Yep, I saw just after I posted it that Twitter had apparently killed him off twice. That'll teach me to fact check.
