I'm in... and I'm saying that as someone who has had it up to here with the Avengers. Affleck is looks like he's going to get better and better as Batman.

It's encouraging that Superman wasn't in the trailer but we'll never be that lucky.

I don't mind Cavill, I just never liked Superman and I think the Man of Steel was pretty bad. Great seeing Batman beat the breaks off him in Dawn of Justice.

 

In saying that though I used watch Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman when I was small, probably because we had two or three channels.

Caught a good few Smallville episodes when my missus was watching it and it looked pretty good too.

I don't think I can ever get passed the fact that he combs his hair and wears a pair of glasses and nobody recognises him.

 

Do you think he's been left out of the trailer because he's going to make an epic entrance or because he's still a bit but hurt at Batman, or just so people will talk about it.

Superman was my all time favourite super hero as a kid. I grew up with the Christopher Reeves movies, I was born in 79 so just after the first one came out. I loved that stuff. I liked MoS and BvS so I'm happy with how he's been portrayed so far.

 

Never watched New Adventures or Smallville. Didn't hate the Brandon Routh Superman movie either, wasn't great though by any means.

 

Its smart to leave him out of the trailer, I'd leave him out of every trailer entirely. Maybe show his silhouette for like a split second right at the end of the final trailer, but dont actually show him. Then its something to look forward to in the movie, how they handle it, if he's in the black suit with the silver logo etc. Trailers for BvS gave away way too much.

BvS wasn't as bad as some reports would have you believe (sure, they showed Doomsday, which was silly, but they didn't really show any of the climactic fight).

 

The worst in recent memory, for me, was Terminator: Genisys. That reveal was a shocking thing to put in the trailer, especially when that one heel turn changes absolutely everything about the character.
