If he was going to do that, he'd need more than a mask since his tattoos are so iconic; something like the original MVP outfit.

 

Although, that would only really be viable for WWE to use, because the other promotions like RoH would be wasting the drawing power of CM Punk's return to the ring by hiding him (and even then, that still really applies to WWE too).

I love Jericho, I really do but sometimes when he opens his mouth or I read his books he occasionally says something like this that makes my eyes roll so hard they snap to the back of my head like Takers and they stay there for a good five minutes.

 

IF Punk comes back to wrestling, like DC says, he isn't going to do it in a way that dims his drawing power, he isn't going to hide like a scolded dog. He always said he was never going to rule out a return to the sport, just not to the WWE. I think he'll want to win a fight at least in MMA, probably in a busher league then UFC and then he'll come back as himself in RoH or NJPW on his terms, on a lighter workload and make some green before riding into the sunset.

Yeah, the drawing power is the big issue with this idea. But I could see Punk himself liking this idea. I guess the draw would come when the big reveal happens. But yeah it's crazy really!

No not really. Brock came back as an unstoppable killer after Cane and Overeem both made him look like a joke. I think wrestling fans realise he isnt a fighter and shouldn't have expected any different.

Money? He may have money but he's still only in his 30's, I doubt he has enough to live on for the next 40+ years. Plus, they all go back. Every last one of them, including the ones who are far more out of favour with WWE than Punk is.

I think we'll 100 % see him in a wrestling ring again. It wouldn't surprise me if it was WWE.
