Rumours abound that we're getting Brock vs Goldberg at this event.

Meh.

Yeah. I'm not sure how I feel about Goldberg vs. Lesnar at this point either. Given Goldberg's age and all, this match would be a train wreck.
I would like to see him
It's pretty likely happening! xD
I would be happy just to hear the theme music and see him walk through the pyro after that it would not matter just to hear GOLDBERG!, GOLDBERG!, GOLDBERG!. Would make my day and year. You know its not going to be a five star match but I would so mark out.
Same, I'm not after a pretty match...I do expect a pretty physical one, even if Lesnar will be leading it most of the time! xD
Can't be any worse than WMXX, right guys? Right? Guys? GUYS?!

Well yeah, both guys are more motivated and likely to perform more actively than then.

EXTREMELY different situations were happening during that particular situation.

There's literally nothing to suggest they can't have a much better match.

This year's Survivor Series will have three Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Matches pitting RAW Superstars against SmackDown LIVE Superstars. There will be a 5-on-5 Elimination Tag Match featuring RAW's top 5 singles competitors facing SmackDown LIVE's top 5 singles competitors. The other two Elimination Tag Matches will be one for the female competitors and one for tag teams (which will be a 10-on-10 Elimination Tag Match).
I like the idea of all these elimination matches. It gives them a chance to showcase multiple wrestlers without having to make the PPV overly long (*cough* Summerslam.. *cough*). Also the elimination matches have been meaningless for years and the brand warfare allow for some hype to get behind.

No real surprise here but Goldberg vs. Lesnar has been made official for Survivor Series. Also, Nikki Bella will captain Team SmackDown LIVE in the Women's Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match. Heath Slater & Rhyno and The Hype Bros are also a part of Team SmackDown LIVE for the 10-on-10 Elimination Tag Match. Slater & Rhyno are automatically on the team because they're the SmackDown Tag Team Champions so I'm guessing the same will be true for Team RAW?
if the WCW guy goes over i will be extremely surprised already booked them stupidly by having a heel promo in brocks home town
Why is Nikki Bella captaining the team and not the Women's Champion?

They probably don't want to put the belt on her yet - understandable given the prior injury.

Perhaps she'll get back into the title scene after this is all dealt with.

That is a very good question. Perhaps they have other plans for the respective Women's Champions at Survivor Series? I can't see them putting the SmackDown Women's Champion on a team where she's not the captain. That is, unless, they randomly put the title on Nikki Bella before then (which I hope they don't do).

The WCW guy went over in the first match, Negative Nelly, so Brock going over here would just even it up.

They're most likely going to do the aborted Becky v Bliss title match.

it would be nice for them to surprise us

You mean the title match they're doing on the November 8 SmackDown LIVE? Or do you think they'll have a non-finish for the title match, leading to a rematch at Survivor Series?

Good question regarding the Women's Elimination Match. With Natalya out of the mix, there are five women left and SD only has five women left to choose from. So why Nikki is leading and Lynch isn't is a no brainer, it's cause she's Nikki Bella. Nothing more. They'll just be leading her against the fight, lead by Charlotte, I guess.

According to TicketMaster, this year's Survivor Series will be four hours long. If this is true, it looks like WWE is making it a theme for their "Big Four" pay-per-views.
