Is anyone watching The Good Place? I just started watching the first season and it's fun, quirky and entertaining, but I'm having a hard time seeing how a show like this, with a plot like the one it has, can last for several seasons. It sort of seems like a better premise for a movie or miniseries. I'm hoping I'm wrong though.

This sounds awesome! Thanks for sharing it with me. The premise is up for comedy, but it also has rooms for important life messages. I think this type of show can have multiple main characters which fit multiple seasons.

While searching for more info about the show, though, I found a news article about one of the actors having undocumented immigrant status, though. I wonder if it's going to affect the show's continuation.

I watched the first episode a while back but never continued. It should be in the second season, if I'm not mistaken. You may be surprised at home the plot may change but I'm also curious to see how far it goes.

It has been pretty good so far but I still haven't watched any more of it. There's just too much out there and too little time. I really intend to though. Yeah, it's funny with heart, always a good combo. That's a bummer to hear about the immigration status. Something tells me that Hollywood, as per usual, will probably find some way around this.

Yeah, I think it's in the second season. It shifted more than I thought it would in the first couple of episodes, but I will have to keep watching to see what else ends up happening. Or just give in and Google it myself.

I watched the first few episodes and then I lost interest. I seemed like it would be one of those funny movies to veg out to but it seemed a little much for my taste. I am actually surprised it hasn't been canceled yet.
I never heard of this before. What channel does it come on? Sound kind of interesting to me so I'd like to give it a whirl. Comedy rarely gets me going but who knows.

I can understand. The premise is simple, so we may find some repetitions in the episodes. As long as it's done beautifully, I won't complain much. I'm halfway through the first season and overall it's a good series. I like when a story touches viewers with low-key beats like this.

Why do you think it would be canceled? It's still airing the second season, but the third season has been confirmed.

It airs on NBC.

I kind of assumed the same thing, which is what brought me on here. I wanted to see how they were keeping the storyline going. It just didn't seem to promise a whole lot of longevity, despite how great the plot is. But I'm glad to see that's not the case.
