There are some great films on the horizon. Star Wars: The Last Jedi is a big one for me and luckily not too far away. There are quite a few others but towards the top of my list: the new Jurrasic World, Aquaman, Black Panther, and the new Fantastic Beasts. What about you?

I'm with Evie on the Star Wars continuation, the new Jurrasic World, and I want to see the new Fifty Shades installment. There are a lot of good flicks coming this fall and winter. Just in time for me to buy some movies and get my hot chocolate.
I like the same as Feeling, the Star Wars continuation, the new Jurrasic World, and the Fifty Shades Freed shows. I'm really into fantasy/Syfy so Fifty Shades if kind of out of character for me but I watched the first two and got hooked.
I keep hearing good things online about the Fifty Shades films, but I feel like everyone I've actually spoken to about them hasn't had anything very positive to say. I guess I will have to see for myself!
I am so looking forward to Star Wars, the last Jedi. Wonder just came out and I plan to see it soon. Also Murder on the Orient Express is calling my name. I hope to see them all before Christmas.
Black Panther and the new Fantastic Beasts are two movies that have been on my radar for quite a while now. Unlike most people, I have never been a huge Star Wars fan but the anticipation all around me is actually exciting!
I'll add some more titles which haven't been mentioned here: the new Maze Runner film, Avengers' Infinity War, and obviously the crazy sequel to Deadpool. I think 2018 has quite a nice line-up, I can't wait to jump and see those promising titles on my screen.
Anything that isn't a sequel, prequel, remake or superhero film.

Kindly elaborate on the reason why, sir? Reading your post makes me think about upcoming stand-alone series that I'm looking forward to, but I can't come up with anything. Is the fault with me or is there nothing fun on the screen?

I am just bored with all the above. It seems to be 80% of all Cinema movies these days.

As for standalone upcoming films that have great potential. There's annihilation, proud mary and Commuter in January to February.

In summer there's Tag and Happytime Murders which sound interesting.

I mentioned Wonder I'm my above post. I saw it this week and loved every minute. I don't know how old you are but a parent would totally relate to this movie. And it is a stand alone.

I'm waiting with bated breath to see the next installment of Star Wars. I have been a fan since I was a kid and I guess I'm still a kid. Fantasy and science fiction are really a passion for me.

Went to see Murder on the Orient Express yesterday and loved it. I will go see it again if I have the opportunity. The characters, the plot, the scenery are all wonderful. I really want to read the book now.
