Guest Incredible Iron
It is very hard nowadays to determine whether a scene is real or CGI. I made this topic because of what Deadpool said before the fight of Cable and Colossus took place. Can you spot a CGI scene from the real one? If so, then how do determine the difference? Greylien
I have to admit that I can't tell the difference. Does it somehow take away elements from the movie if you can't tell the difference?
Guest The Wild Things
Sometimes I can tell the difference, sometimes I can't. Most of the time, I only know it's CGI because it's implausible for it to be real. @Greylien, I think the whole point of CGI is so that you can't tell the difference between them, so I don't think you're missing out. Guest Revenger
When I see something that is too good to be true, then I consider that scene a CGI. When I see a Jackie Chan movie, then I will assume that most of the scenes, if not all, are real. The Fast and The Furious movie franchise is the one I can't determine whether the car chases with stunts were real or CGI.
Greylien
The Fast and The Furious movie franchise is the one I can't determine whether the car chases with stunts were real or CGI. They were real. There were purists involved in that movie so CGI was out of the question there. The best car chase scenes are real in my opinion. Look at my avatar. The chase scene to end all chase scenes.
Guest Meerkat
I reckon that the actors are taking so much credit for the scenes with CGI or even stunt doubles. I admire actors who do the stunts themselves despite the danger that they may face. Somehow, we have grown into movies with CGI that we can't appreciate a movie without the impossible scenes done with CGI.
Guest Incredible Iron
I was watching the trailer for the latest Mission Impossible film and it got me thinking whether the stunts were CGI or real so I checked for the behind-the-scenes. Here is what I . Still, I think the CGI part is when the helicopter almost hit the truck.
