Dwayne Johnson clearly carries the day because he has had a chance to prove himself. His capability to star in different roles has probably enabled him to be successful. Batista also stood out in Guardians of the Galaxy. Are there any other superstars out there that have starred in various roles before?

Triple H was in a few movies including Blade Trinity. Also saw a certain current wrestler in a preview for Holmes & Watson.

Goldberg was on Universal Soldier. Stone cold and John Cena have also played movie roles. No wrestler has featured in big movies like The Rock has though.

Adam "Edge" Copeland was on the T.V. Show Haven. Roddy Piper starred in a cult classic movie. Hulk Hogan did a series of crappy movies, Kevin Nash was in D.O.A, and the Punisher and was shredder in a TMNT movie.

The Miz has done a few movies (notably The Marine films) but he did a Santa one as well but they were all

direct to video/dvd. (Was on Sky films the Santa one but not now)

Marine 4 with Summer Rae is on Sky store.

 

Glenn Jacobs (Kane) did 2 See No Evil horror films.

 

Noticed HBK and Becky were in the latest Marine film.

Oh yes, I remember John Cena featuring in The Marine. Tyler Mane also had a role in X Men. It seems that WWE stars featuring in movies isn't a new thing but future stars could learn a thing or two from The Rock.

The Rock was good in San Andreas, and he'll be in the sequel. John Cena was hilarious in the "Mad Lib Theater" sketch on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
