Would you pay for WWF ppv's?

If it came down to it and Sky started to charge for PPV programming how many people out there would pay to watch them?

(created a new thread from "looks like were gonna miss the rumble")

I've always thought that since I pay for Sky why the hell should I pay for events that should be shown anyway. Never have I bought a PPV and I never will, the way TV is going now it looks like I will miss a lot in the future, but who really cares. Why should we pay more so McMahon and Murdoch can throw another million on the pile.

I havent got SKY, but I want it. But whats the point? The main attraction is really the football, but now you have to pay extra for that. It really is like this:

When you actually "buy" SKY, all you get is the dish and box, and if you want to actually watch what you have just paid for, you have to pay again!

No, I would not pay for PPVs, simple as that. We already have to pay a subscription rate for Sky and I think that's quite enough to pay. Sure, I sympathise with the Americans who do have to pay for the Pay Per Views, but I do not sympathise enough to want to join them.

As stated above, you do all ready pay for the existing sky packages, but its the same over in the states. The fact over there is that 1 company does not have such a huge monopoly. Her we have sky which is efftevely fox in the states, i don't know the names but there are several in the us.

As for the ppv's i'd buy the rumble, wmania and kotr. As i think that these one's all have something special about them. But then again if the others have good matches that they sell well, you never know.

If I had SKY, to be honest, I would still purchase a PPV if the ONLY match scheduled was Big Show vs Mick Foley in a bikini clad, swimming pool iron-man match. :roll

Boy you all should count yourself's lucky........ They cost $29.95 each in the US, and that is on top of the cable/satellite fee's.

I would pay a tenner if a match really interested me, and I would definately pay for the Rumble and Wrestlemania.

Only two or three a year though.

I'd only pay for the ones that had a good line up of matches, or if someone was returning/leaving. Even then I'd only want to spend a fiver for it at the most.
