Through obligation, Scotland. However, given that we suck right now, when the major tournaments come around and we are inevitably nowhere to be seen I tend to follow Republic Of Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden (being a Celt ;)), Argentina and Brasil. My family originates from Ireland and I still have a few Irish relatives, and the rest (other than Sweden) are just countries that I have followed as a result of studying their cultures/languages, whatever. I have friends from all of those places (except ROI funnily enough), so I have plenty of excuses to follow those teams after Scotland have taken their customary qualifying round gubbing.

I support two teams - Scotland and Northern Ireland.

 

Scotland because I was born there and half my family is from there and Northern Ireland because I have lived here most of my life.

 

But I'm like Goldy, club comes most certainly before country.
