The future of WWE games?????

Can you imagine if THQ and WWE step it up and put the WWE titles ONLINE!!!!!!!! Yes, ONLINE!!!!!!!!

 

Being able to set up "Federations" and have a "season" with PPV's and such. You "live" the storylines- set up matches, run-ins, etc.,etc.. Have the "online lobby" be like the backstage of shows. I f you want to strat a beef with somebody, you can run-in on a match their having online with somebody else and cost them the match,etc.,etc.,etc..

 

This idea came to me after hearing about how EA Sports is going online with all it's sports titles this year, and I thought that it would just be incredible if they could put WWE online.

nice idea- but it would be complicated to implement the idea. if they did this i would expect to see it at least 3-5 years from now

And, like Seabass said, in 3-5 years this might be possible.

 

And...will anyone even give wrestling games a second glance by then?

Just some forward thinking.

 

1. They could probably set up online play with the next title, just not as detailed- simple one on one matches with no story or extras.

 

2. There will aways be an interest in wrestling games- as long as the WWE is popular there will be a profittable nitch for a WWE title.
