Disgraceful Scene's at Audley Harrison Fight

Dont know if many of you saw it but im sure you will read about it in the papers. After Harrison stopped Matthew Ellis in the 2nd round of his fight there was a near riot. Both Herbie Hide and Frank Bruno were in attendance and post match Harrison grabbed the mic from the MC and proceeded to goad both Bruno and Hide. He asked the crowd whether they would see him fight Bruno or Hide and Bruno being such a crowd favourite they obviously chanted his name which only caused to wind Hide up. There was then a lot of pushing and shoving by numerous securtiy and minders as Harrison tried to leave the ring but was unable to do so due to Hide being at ringside. The pushing got more and more intense until alledgedly Hide was seen to flip out and punch a female fan and all hell broke loose. A huge fight erupted with chairs flying everywhere.

 

It really was a horrible scene and even tho Hides behaviour was disgraceful, Harrison should also be condemed for blatanly goading Hide like he did. Harrison of course claimed in a pre match interview that he had done nothing wrong and tried to place all the blame on Hide but this is clearly wrong.

 

The Boxing Board of Control are sure to launch an enquiry as it appears there was no where near enough security around to prevent this sort of thing happening.

 

Of course with all this bad blood now it seems unlikely that Hide and Harrison will box in the near future, although with the morals of boxing promoters it could just as likely be booked for next month.

In the interview with Harrison I believe he said that Hide was a"Loose Cannon" or words to that effect, so surely if Harrison knew this, why did he continue to goad Hide. Of course Hide should not have flipped out, but if Harrison never grabbed the mic then I'm sure things would have been ok. Personally I don't think much of Harrison, granted his ring work has improved since he started, but I just don't like the bloke.

Saw bits of it last night while I was bored and flicking thourgh the channels and this type of stuff normally happens in wrestling not boxing , to me to seemed like Harrison was turning heel

LOL i saw it, this guy thinks he is awesome. He should get knocked down a few pegs soon and maybe wont be as big headed. Bruno should take him out LOL, man he sucks i remember he got completely nailed by Tyson in 3 round once, but tyson is an animal. The guy is also a sick frea, anyone remember when he said he would eat lewises kids, and he wished he has raped that girl again that he raped before. Man he is a sick freak.
