Whats the best move from the top turnbuckle?

Mine has to be the Spanish Fly as performed by NWA-TNA's SAT's (the Spanish announce team) Jose and Joel Maximo.

the move is basically a moonsault/Rock Bottom combo. If you have not seen this then please try and see it somehow, a sit has to be seen to be believed.

Why have i chosen this move?

beacuse it is an extremly dangerous move to pull off, but the two young spaniards pull if of well, and it must take alot of practice..as well as a good sence of balance etc.

Anyway what is the best move in your opinion and why?

After re-watching a couple of old Savage matches and the recent WM's Jericho/Michaels match, I've got to say my favourite is the good ol' fashioned elbow drop.

It just looks so damn good: rather than a "jump and hope" splash or an overly-convoluted faux-lucha concoction, it actually looks like what a wrestling move should: simple and devastating. The way the attacker has to crane is neck sideways to keep his eye on his opponent as he comes down just lends it that extra bit of authenticity.

I like Billy Kidman's shoot star press I think it's great also if Brock had hit his shooting star press at Wrestlemania I would have marked for that I also think Marc Mero had a great shooting star press I also once saw of clip of Jason Cross on NWA:TNA doing a shooting star leg drop all I can say is wow

My favourites are:

Shooting Star Press - Just because its an amazing sight to see as wrestler flip over in mid air. Brock Lesnar can probably do it best from what I have seen.

Moonsault - When done by anyone not called Lita, this is again a visually pleasing move. Essa Rios does this best (Although that move where he flipped over the turnbuckles and outside of the ring was even better).

Top Rope Dropkick - I really like this move, don't know why. I think Chris Jericho and Booker T perform it especially well.

Legdrop - Rarely done these days, I like it pretty much for the same reasons Acid mentioned, its a simple yet effective manouvre.

Kidman's Shooting star press looks pretty cool.. other than that 450 splash is pretty good too.

Shooting Star Press - Take your pick from Jason Cross (SSP Leg-Drop), AJ Styles & Brock Lesner

Spanish Fly

Houston Hangover

The shooting star leg drop by Jason Cross is one of themost impressive athletic manouvers you will ever see.

To do that move must take a great deal of precision and a bond of trust must be inforce when he is about to hit that move as one mistake could be fatal..etc a blow to the head of something as simple as that.

therock88 - I has seen the SAT Spanish Fly - it is very impressive - but dangerous too.

For me - it would have to be the Juvi's 450 splash - a fast spin and still you land front first!

Impressive! - I also saw a spinning leg drop in CZW once - I saw a man standing his back away from opponent - he jumps and spins wildly then legdrops the hapless man.

All moves from the top are dangerous pete, when a man or woman leaves their feet there is very little they can do to control the outcome should something go wrong.

Good point mate.

I must also tell you about another great move I saw in CZW - a wrestler (Unidentified) holds his opponent on his back - the opponent face is looking upwards.

The wrestler then flips the opponent over his shoulder and pushes down - all from the top rope or a high spot.

Brilliant!
