"Job Horror!"

When, for you, do you consider a job that just should not have happened? Killed someones respect? Heat? Fued? Career?

Mine are the following:

Rico defeats Ric Flair

As much as I'm a fan of Rico's, it was still a shock for him to win cleanly (from memory) against The Nature Boy. If I'm right, there was no point in Rico winning as he wasn't in the middle of a push?

L. Taylor defeats Bam Bam Bigelow

To think that this was the main-event of Wrestlemania is quite shocking. Again, there was no point in LT winning, and although Bam Bam "survived" it came close to a career killer.

Kane and the Katie Vick storyline?

Apologies if I've worded my post wrongly, but I meant wrestlers who have jobbed that shouldn't have.

:xyx

I think the reasoning behind the Flair job to Rico was because they were building towards him aligning himself with Triple H. So they had Flair job to Rico then at Unforgiven they had him lose in the way he did to Chris Jericho to make it look like he had lost his edge which lead to a promo later that night by Trips which basically said that. That of course then led on to Flair coming out and screwing RVD. I think that was why they had him job to Rico if memory serves me.
I think the obvious one would be Jericho jobbing to HBK. I know they will probably have a rematch some day, but Jericho really shouldve won, to show that the torch was being passed.

this match would be fun ..... erm .... not !

Rosey, Albert and the Big show vs Rickishi, Brock and Jamel they would need to reinforce the ring lol

I disagree with that, whilst Jericho should've won, there's no way it killed Jericho or belittled him in any way and damn sure didn't cost him any heat as HBK's seen as good as or higher than Jericho, he was protected pretty well in that match, it was a freaking amazing match and he wasn't buried at all.

Plus he was a heel too, faces going over the heels like that rarely makes the heel lose heat.

didn't kill Jericho...but didn't really move Jericho any higher, though that may have been a blessing in disguise as HHH may have shot him back down to the earth (i know they are both heels...but HHH would have found a way)

Jericho jobbing to Ric Flair at Summerslam should never have happend it almost killed Jericho thankfully he recovered.

Also Jeff winning the I.C title of HHH in 2001 shouldn't have happend as the next show HHH completely squashed Hardy killing any heat Hardy had

I can see what your saying, but I disagree with him not winning the belt as it was a great shock.

Maybe a bit of an odd one to pick out, but for me it was when Hogan jobbed to HHH cleanly when it was to determine the number one contender for the undisputed championship.

It was on Raw I think when he did the J-O-B after they both were eliminated at the same time in a 20 man battle royal. Why couldn't they just have had HHH win the battle royal instead of making Hogan do such a blatantly clean job to big nose himself?

For me it just made no sense, and just smelt of backstage nonsense rather than serious entertainment. It had I-O-U one job written all over it. Thats the only one recently that had me very much pissed off.

So many recently aren't there!

Regal & Storm losing to JR and the King - Raw

Raven Jobbing to King - Raw

Hurricane jobbing to Jamie Knoble - KOTR 2002

Jericho to Flair - Summerslam

Jericho to HBK - Wrestlemania X9

Hall to Austin (killed any heat hall still had)

and finally anyone who has been forced to job to hhh in the last 12 months.

Agree with you on Hall vs. SCSA. Did Hall job to Bradshaw @ Backlash 2002?

Na, Hall beat Bradshaw with a roll up.

Agree with Walshyboy on Storm and Regal against King and JR.

What about Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho both jobbing to John Cena.

What about Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho both jobbing to John Cena.

Don't agree with that, John Cena is going to be a big star in the future and beating these two has helped him gain credibility.

Of all the times Benoit has Jobbed you pick this one? What about jobbing to Polumbo a couple of weeks back?
