Thats great news, it will give TNA more publicity, PPV buy rates should increase as well. I don't think he will be there long however, I think the WWE will get him before the end of the year.

Who was the old world champion? JJ? I find it hard to keep up to date with TNA, although for some reason I always pick them on EWR.

Anyway, good to hear that AJ has the belt, maybe he could feud with Sting? I hope TNA get a TV deal soon, I hate to hear what I am missing! :roll

Yes mate JJ was the old world champion. Held it for 7 or so months, Raven didnt win BECUASE Shane Douglas came out near the end and he and Raven battled to the end.

Russo came out with a guitar and hit JJ over the head, AJ with the styles class to get the win, RUSSO AND AJ TOGETHER.

TNA Can official say THEY MADE AJ STYLES.

You where right! This is from themayhem.com

Mike Tenay announced tonight on the NWA:TNA PPV that Steve "Sting" Borden would be debuting with the company next week, on the promotion's anniversary show.

No word on what his role will be, but we do know that he will be on the show next week. He was previously in talks with WWE, but no contract ever came about.

I know what his role will be...

He is in a match, Jeff Jarrett and Sting Vs AJ Styles and ???

I personally think it will be D'Lo Brown, but it could be Vince Russo?

Anyways im off to bed exam in the morning, TALK AWAY.

It could be D'Lo, but I think it will be Glen Gilberti, put him in there in order to settle his feud with JJ, then maybe have JJ and Sting Vs AJ and Russo. Ravern V Shane Douglas looks to be a feud as well, that should make for some interesting TV, now if I could only watch it!

What the heck is the TWA. Well whatever it is, I never saw it before. I wish I could because Sting is my favorite wrestler.

It's not TWA as they're a British promotion. It's NWA TNA Jerry Jarrets promotion. Check out http://www.nwatna.com for information about them. They have some excellent wrestlers on their books including AJ Styles, Jerry Lynn, Raven and many more, well worth a look as they're a great alternative from the WWE.

Technically it's Panda Energy's company, but the Jarretts do have a minority stake so fair enough.

They were on a role with big feuds with Jarrett v Raven, but now they've pretty much.. sucked. They've pushed Glen Gilberti into a role he's not good enough for, and they veotoed Raven becoming champion even though rhe fans were begging for it, and Vince Russo returned *ultra-groan* to add nothing to the company.

Still, the X-Division makes it worth watching.. 95% of the time anyway.

Jesus, is there any competant promoters in North America left? When will they see that bringing back older names that couldn't draw 3 years ago, can't draw now? Sting was once great, but towards the end of WCW he was nothing short of terrible.

I guess if someone booked him awesomely, it'd work, but the chances of that are slim-to-none. At least book him to put some young guys over ala Styles, Gilberti etc etc.

I can't imagine them having Sting for long, mainly cause of his salary, I mean they couldn't afford Sean Waltman for one more than a sneeze, doubt Sting will be there for long. Still expect him in WWE by the end of the year.
