British Bulldog Inquest.

Yesterday The Daily Mail confirmed that a medical inquest into the death of the British Bulldog David Smith found an enlarged heart as the cause of death.

Finally all the talk of a drug overdose can be swept aside and Davey's family can grieve in peace and get on with their lives.

R.I.P Bulldog you went too soon man!

As nice as it is to know that an overdose didnt kill him, it was still the long term use of steroids that caused his premature death so its still sad.

Steroids and painkillers without a doubt. That and "other" stuff, read Dynamite Kid's book if you don't know what "other" indicates.

Agreed 100% - he has been subject to intense speculation - but we found out the cause of the death - let's leave the family in peace.

Always he'll be a legend in my book.

RIP David "British Bulldog" Smith

I think it's time we talked more openly about this issue, and made it more public. If you want to burry your head in the sand and see the death-toll continue to raise, go ahead, that's what the industry's done for decades now and they know it's the wrong thing to do.

I hear that the New York State Athletic Commission is making drug testing mandatory for wrestling promotions that holds shows in the New York state 6 times in a calendar year.

Currently WWE and an indepedent wrestling promotion fall under that rule.

A step in the right direction to banish drugs from wrestling possibly?

Don't let that fool you PK, WWE will get around it, like they did in 1991. When the steriod scandel broke back then, they were forced to start drug testing guys like Hogan, Sid Justice, and what happened?, were they penalised?, or did they end up on top?.

I'm no legal expert lol!

Didn't a man who sells and distributes the steroids and drugs get sent to the wagon in the case against Vince?

Yep PK, that ws Dr. Zahorian, he was jailed for five-years for selling and distributing steroids to pro athletes, including most of the WWF roster. The only reason Vince and Hogan got off was because the prosecution got a ton of house show and T.V taping dates wrong/mixed up.

If someone on the presecution had excess to all the right dates, Vince and Hogan would've been up shit creek without a paddle.

About Davey Smith, although he was great during his early career, it was all due to the steroids and other drugs. Don't forget Davey was the one that got Dynamite Kid into the 'roids, uppers 'n' downers, cocain ect etc.
