Whats your thoughts on metallica in general and the album??

They are crud. :D

not convinced of the album, but the idea of the dvd is rally good. watched that today and it's a cool thing to have with it.

The album is cool but i dont think it measures up to some previous efforts such as Master of Puppets and the black album

I like the new stuff but still think they'll never match the aggression they showed in the 80s. Never.

I have never liked their old stuff..But i think St.Anger is a great song! I may be even tempted to buy their new album and check the rest out. What do people give the new album out of 10?? and dont compare it to their other stuff...jus this album as a whole..

Why don't you download a few tracks for yourself and see if you like them enough to buy the album, instead of going on the recommendation of people with different tastes in music to you? :)

But most people are all into the same stuff as me and each other on these boards...plus i want peoples views on it, its not to much to ask...saves me time in life not sitting at a pc, downloading them. i have a life, and dont have broadband :(

Have to say I think the single is absolutely rubbish, with posibly the worst mix and worst drum sound I've ever heard.

Some one stole my geeky analysis of the production! Apart from the crappy production, the song is pretty shit. The verse and chorus dont sit together.
