Hey, as Manchester City are moving to a fantastic new stadium, i thought i would see what football stadiums you consider the best, which ones do you enjoy going to? which make you go w00t!! It can be in any country, as they have some beauties abroad. Or just your favourite stadium in your own country, up to you. So lets have them folks!! Of course you're probably all going to want to put Man Citys new home down ;) but think about all the other magnificent stadiums!! :D

millenium stadium

stadium of light

Well a special mention just has to go to Old Trafford, the best stadium in England bar none.

I always loved the old Wembey, although it was falling to pieces and was pretty much a shithole in the end, the place had something special about it that the Millenium Stadium just doesn't have, IMO the sooner we get the new Wembley built and get the Cup Final back there the better.

Around the world I like the San Siro and the Amsterdam Arena, and the Maracana (sp?) in Brazil.

I have been to the Nou Camp once before. It is a terrible stadium..so filthy!

The best is Old Trafford by a long way..

Ive also been to Ewood Park, which is ok, and Spotland, the home of Rochdale.

Id like to visit...

St James Park

The Millenium Stadium

Anfield

Anfied when the kop was still standing was really just something special.

Old trafford is really a sight to behold been there a couple of times it just gets bigger and bigger.

As i flew into manchester yesterday morning i got a really good view of citys new stadium looks like it could be something fantastic, may try and get on there a few times next season.

Ibrox Stadium. It is one of only 12 football grounds in Europe which is given five star status by UEFA and it also houses the best team in Scotland. :)

As does Old Trafford.

Highbury is a dump, it's like a 5 A Side pitch stuck in the middle of a block of flats, it's nearly half the size of a stadium required to generate enough income to compete at the level Arsenal expect to, it has all the atmosphere of the local library at closing time and the Arse are doing all they can to get the hell outta there.

arsenal are leaving for financial reasons but that's totally irrelevant about whether it's a nice ground or not. highbury's atmosphere is superb and it has you right up against the pitch. it's wonderfully compact and even the biggest man u fans i know love it as a stadium. not sure who you support for sure, but i find it hard to believe anyone who's ever been to highbury could complain about the atmosphere. ah well, everyone to their own i guess.

I'm a United fan myself, and have been to Highbury on a couple of occasions as a few of my family members are Arsenal supporters.

Don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful looking stadium, I was only joking calling it a dump, my main problem is the size of the playing area, when I walked in for the first time the thing that hit me was the size of the pitch, it's tiny and in my opinion detracts from the enjoyment of the game.

As for the atmosphere, it's more to do with the Arsenal fans rather than the stadium, they seem to spend most of the game sitting on their hands or singing negative chants about the opposition, rather than cheering on their team. I've heard the place described as the Higbury Library by Arsenal fans themselves.
