Posted June 16, 200321 yr Is Goldberg really fired? See for yourselves This was on WWE.com earlier, but has now been taken off. Were WWE too hasty in posting it? Is Goldberg really fired, but WWE have chosen not to release news of it yet? Or maybe it's just a fake picture. Personally, I think it's just been posted because Goldberg and the management may have had a falling out, but later patched things up. So what do you think?
June 16, 200321 yr The pictures too small, you cant read a thing, the only thing you can see clearly is Austin sticking his fingers up
June 16, 200321 yr Just got this from WO, maybe it is could have had something to do with it. WO:- "As of a few minutes ago, Bill Goldberg was on the warpath as he just found out about the remark Linda McMahon made at the investors conference. No problems whatsoever with Chris Jericho, however."

June 16, 200321 yr So, is it a mock-up? Or is it real? And I'm only asking this so it's not spam when I say "WELCOME MR FILL!" :xyx
June 16, 200321 yr IF it is real then it would be a blessing for Goldberg, i mean so far the WWE have changed the music, put him in matches opening Raw, and putting him in useless programs with mid-carders. They havent put him over as the monster he was portrayed as in WCW and are ruining his character.
June 16, 200321 yr Goldberg isn't going anywhere, come on, Vince is a mark for big bodies, and he won't want to pay Goldberg to sit at home and doing nothing. Goldberg has the most leverage though, as he still has some dates in Japan to work, the deal signed for All Japan call on him to work the dates anytime over the next 9 years.

I thought it was 10? - I heard Goldberg agreed a deal earlier this year? As for the WWE.com - it is a FAKE! I have observed the picture carefully and can conclude it is fake - why? Let me demostrate! I was on WWE.com this morning and this afternoon most of the time and hasn't seen any of that column appearing - it is certainly not on WWE.com at the moment. And I would like to point out a obvious fact that many has overlooked - if you go to the bottom of the photo you will see a Windows XP taskbar. From there, you should observe the following 3 items on the menu bars which are: "4. Stan Brush - The To....." "WWE.com - Headline...." "www.wwe.com (Rea..." (In a Word document) It gives good point that it's a fake and there was a excellent professional graphic designer capable of copying the WWE.com site. AND!!!!!!! - One more thing - under the Goldberg's statement there is a plug about Terri's appearance on TNN show something - that was for THE SATURDAY BEFORE, WWE are usually very prompt in removing old items. Remember Bradshaw's love song to Triple H? - the same thing. As of 8.34pm Goldberg is still under contract with WWE.
June 16, 200321 yr ...you missed the america online item on the task bar and that "4. Stan Brush - The To....." means he has winamp running also it's a bad idea to try edit any picture on Word. so he could have just simply copy and pasted onto word, screen dump the picture and put up wherever he firt put it. not saying your wrong PK...in fact i'm just making sure i get a post in this topic

Wanted to say that I agree with Seabass - it is not recommended to edit pictures using Word - the chap who did the mock up may have used it to type the column and heading and cut and paste onto a picture using a picture editor may it be Photoshop or etc.... Thanks Seabass for telling me I missed AOL - must pay more attention next time LOL :D After further observation I have found more errors! Grammar and English error - the quote "World Wrestling Entertainment inc" can be found in the column - however the correct version should be "i" with a capital I "World Wrestling Entertainment Inc" Take a look and you'll know what I mean.
June 17, 200321 yr one more thing to add to PK studying I seriously doubt a page from wwe.com whould have a error on the page, easly done when editing html ie in word
June 17, 200321 yr Originally posted by remlap one more thing to add to PK studying I seriously doubt a page from wwe.com whould have a error on the page, easly done when editing html ie in word actually- that can happen. i've had pages loaded up and still it says "error on page"

June 17, 200321 yr Couldn't care less. The WWE chose the WRONG time to bring Goldberg into the mix. WCW/WWE DON'T MIX!!!
June 17, 200321 yr Originally posted by StoneColdSteveAustin I saw it clearly, this betta not be a spoiler from RAW? Is it? I must tell you to observe my posts - clearly the image posted is FAKE - it is way too obvious - I'll not explain why again - read my posts. It is not real - as of 9.10pm Tuesday 17th June 2003 - Goldberg is still under contract to WWE. There is no official statement from WWE nor any news sources to confirm this. It is FAKE! ChrisfromBirtley - you're wrong - WWE and WCW can mix - as long there're good writers. WWE's writers are a bunch of lazy people who aren't too bothered to do some decent storylines.
July 1, 200420 yr goldberg left the wwe after wrestlemania 20 :). hope it clears things up :xyx Thanks for that, but this is an old thread and the mods don't take kindly to dragging them up, so try to stick with the current ones ok? Not getting at you at all, just pointing out the rules, or if I'm wrong, at least you know:) Saracen
