hell in cells

do you think the hell in the cell match is getting to *overused* i mean it used to be every few years or so but now there doing them all the time.

what do you lot think?

It's been used once this year. Thats pretty good going. I don't think it's overused at all. It's not overdone like ladder and table matches, and is used in matches that we know will be classic hard hitting battles (bar Taker/Bossman and HHH/Nash). So no complaints from me.

It hasn't been overused - yet - but like all gimmick matches, it soon will be.

 

Remember when Ladder matches were a big deal? Now they're run of the mill and Hell In A Cell matches will end up exactly the same within a year or two, guaranteed.

Is it 3 time in the past 12 months now trips v jerky, taker v brock and now nash v trips so maybe a little bit at least there all at the ppv's.

that is my point 3 in 12 month it should be like 1 every 2 years so it brings the en-joy-ment of the match when it happens

I agree it will be a lot better if Hell in a cell is only used once every 1 or 2 years as said if it goes in this rate they won't seem to be as special anymore remember before when steel cage matchs were a big deal? the Hell in a cell was introduced and now cage matchs don't seem that important with the Elimanation Chamber been done soon I think Hell in a cell matchs won't seem as good anymore

Apart from the Foley Cell matches, I've never realy been into hell in a cell. I think the sucess of the first few peaked with KOTR98. They went down hill after that.

the 6 man at armageddon was the best ever. the Foley ones are also good. I thought Triple H VS. Jericho & Brock VS. Taker were very dissapointing.

I think we need a decent one @ WM20! There's only been one @ WM (nearly 5 years ago!) and I think a HIAC would be great.

I seriously doubt it too, but i think it would be great if he did one with Brock Lesnar and do a big bump because i think he's the only guy in WWE mad enought to get F5ed throught the cage.

As much as i think he won't work another hell in the cell match... you don't know for sure, anything is possible in wrestling...i never thought he'll eva be back in WWE again after he dissed it.
