Actually if you read closer you'd know I meant that the "genre" is made of fake people, ie the artists (Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte etc).

 

But hopefully, the new channel I heard about last night.. the one with real rock music might be coming into frution soon, and I hope to Go it does cas the music channels need something that's actually good. MTV2 is the only channel that doesn't feed me 24/7 crap.

I don't think you will find much Avril Levigne on P Rock, as for Good charlotte, i can't see whats false about them, they're not pretending to be anything there not. I like P Rock for the bands like Rancid etc you don't get on any other channel. :)

I can't remember where I saw the rumour of the new channel, I was kinda inebriated and had a woman on top of me at the time, but I remember the words "new channel" and "heavy rock". Take that with a pinch of salt. Knowing our luck, we won't get the greatest channel of all time and will be stuck with the current flock of crap.

 

Although... ever checked out Total Rock radio? I used to listen to it and it was awesome. Non-stop Pantera, Megadeth, etc.

And i like P-Rock coz it had loads of artists that are not on Kerrang and MTV2, as someone has already said. You could get stuff from thursday, and violent delight etc played regulary. and i hardly ever saw avril lavigne.. but you are not going to like every artist on every channel.. and you saw avril lavigne and then came to the conclusion p-rock isnt worth watching? well avril is played loads on every music channel..

Actually I saw that it was dedicated to punk music and came to the conclusion it wasn't worth 2 minutes of my time. My mom however decides to put it on to piss me off. But I just go upstairs and play Metallica to piss her off back :D
