UK Scene

Hi,

 

If anyone is interested, I’m looking for someone to take over the UK Scene section at TWO. All you would have to do is write a few paragraphs on any developments in the UK Wrestling Scene, and any big upcoming events. It could be done weekly/fortnightly depending on the amount of stuff happening.

Was going to the St.Mirren game earlier...should have stayed in and scraped my fingers raw or something instead...and as I got to the end of the Estate a young lad asked "Are you a Promoter?" I replied "Yes" and could hear the three youngsters whispering and talking away as I walked on.

SCW might have some fans out there you never know. I should o really said for people who follow SCW as they haven't had an event yet but still.

 

Also guys from SCW did you consider that there is already an SCW in the UK that is the Soverign Championship Wrestling company or something like that.

Yes...and there's a SCW in Florida also.

 

Sovereign are in England, Scottish Championship Wrestling is in Scotland...two different countries. Also, nobody mentioned Sovereign until I named my Promotion Scottish Championship Wrestling. Well, maybe that's harsh...but they were hardly the name on everyone's lips and i've been watching the UK scene since around 1998.

 

I was e-mailed by Sovereign and after 5 seconds consideration I decided to keep the initials SCW. Now, if there was a possibiliy of my naming my promotion SCW meaning Sovereign would lose out on fans then maybe i'd not have used those initials. But for a Promotion who will never promote in Scotland to ask a Scottish Promotion to change their name is slightly...no, totally...out of order.

 

I really do not see the problem.

 

In closing...there is no UK scene, NONE. All Star promote B shows up here and nobody else comes up, hence the lack of training facilities and the fact tribute shows are so unbelievably popular.

As for Scottish Campionship Wrestling I think you should keep the name and I think its good , I was merely stating a point thats all and if you had thought about it.
