This past Monday - I got UEFA Champions League 2001/2002 for PS2 - I've yet to go through the game but so far here're my PK Review :)

A lovely opening - which is the ACTUAL TV intro sequence (albeit outdated with Bayern Munich capitan lifting up the trophy - this season we'll see Paolo Maldini of AC Milan) - and a lovely menu screen.

But - after playing - the game is tough even on "Novice" level and the AI seems to know your every moves a step ahead - but if you set the game speed to 50 - it moves slow and it makes it easier.

Plus with a difficult control system - it ruins the game a bit - but if you hang around, I'm told there is three secrets in that game - which are the video clips of highlights from each round to the final!

Right now, it would be unfair to give a score but when I've finished I probably will keep it as long the highlights are good.

its a decent game pete, the graphics are good, the game is smooth and fast paced, but after u play it for a while it becomes easy to score etc, so play it on the harest option to get the most out of it..

Thanks for the advice! :xyx

It's my fault though - I had gotten too used to the FIFA and PES system though - I shall be looking foward to the new challenge!

The last game i bought was Starsky and Hutch for the PS2. From seeing it in action on demo dvds it looked quite good, and the 2 player mode seemed interesting. On getting this game loaded up i wasnt disappointed. The story is so much like something that would have come straight from the show, and the gameplay is fast, fun and yet very simple. It is easy to get a hold of and is a great one player game. Two player is where it comes into its own, you have one player controlling the car and another controlling the gun (well its hutch hanging out the window with a gun). This leads to some hilarious times as i have spent hours on it with my brother and to be honest, this is a surprise hit.
I got Wakeboard Unleashed for PS2 for my birthday. It's nothing special, more run of the mill Extreme Sports from Activision's cookie cutter. But it only cost me ÂŖ15, so I can live with it.
Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance for the PS2, got it for ÂŖ12 out of GAME.

The Getaway for ps2 last Christmas. Would recommend it, hard game though.

Bought it as i like them type of games, it's a proper gangster flick rated 18...

Good game... gave up a while ago though . .too hard

Last Console Game

Super Smash Bros. Melee for the 'Cube.

GREAT game, got it for twenty beans too.

Good graphics, massive replay value, big (not as big as MvsC2) character list, smooth and using Bowser to hammer the crap out of Mario NEVER gets old!

If you're a Nintendo mark like me that is....

Oh, and drunken four player is ALMOST as good as Goldeneye!

The last game I got was Music 3000. Great game, and a thousand times better than any synthesiser program you'll find on a PC. Mainly because it uses actual recorded samples and not just synthesised sounds.

I'm planning to get Final Fantasy X-2 when it comes out. I'm a huge FF fan so I have to get it really. Only problem is I have no idea when it's out. Anyone know?
