A huge percentage of WM17 was one huge pop. Also when Austin returned at Backlash 2000 and then Unforgiven 2000.

But HHH's pop was quite something.

Maybe the HHH pop got on Raw was one of the biggest ever, but what about the days when Hogan would come out to "When it comes crashing down.." and get a huge cheer.....they tended to be just as big if you ask me.

Its just the same bs from JR as usual, one of his "Ive never seen anything like it in 25 years". Yet he has, and everytime he says it its a lie. First time i picked up on this annoying habit of his was Royal Rumble 2000, when the excellant Mick Foley v HHH match had finished. Apparently hed never seen anything like it. And i think he hadnt seen anything quite like the next, what, 15 PPV main events, cause he liked to say it a lot.

Anyhow, point was that Austin and Hogan probably both got just as good if not better cheers at at least one point in their career, and JR decided to push HHHs pop just to increase the effect of his return.

Any time the Hart foundation appeared in Canada there was a huge pop.

But you right KJ the one for Hunter last week, was one of the largest pop's I have ever heard.

The only one I remember clearly is the Hart Foundation's pop at Canadian Stampede, but I'm sure Hogan got some pretty loud ones in his heyday.

The biggest pop i've ever heard was when Ric Flair returned on Nitro in 1998, believe it or not that pop was bigger that Triple H's

Other POPS:

- Ultimate Warrior returning at the end of the main event of WrestleMania 8

- Demolition winning the Tag team title's at WM6 (go look see)

- Foley winning the WWF Title on Raw

- Taker's return at Judgment Day in 2000

- Warrior winning the World Title at WM6

Rocks return last year got a large pop.

I find it funny that HHH is getting such a pop, since everyone hated his guts before he went out. I never hated him though, he's always been one of my favs.

To call Triple H's pop on RAW one of the best ever is a bloody insult to many a great wrestler. Was it just me who noticed half the crowd were standing with their arms folded in complete and utter silence???? To think the WWF slagged WCW for their tactics with Goldberg...didn't stop them buying the crowd CD though.

Anyways, one of the biggest pops I ever heard was when The Four Horsemen reformed in WCW. Flair, Anderson, Pillman etc, as it was back then, just about took the roof off of that building.

Also, Japanese crowds during an Onita explosion match can be pretty loud...imagine that eh, some explosives getting a bigger pop than Junkie Helmsley and his Iron Cross insignia.

One of the biggest pops and getting the crowd going

my opinion

ECW 's Massacre on Queens Boulevard Event 1996

with Shane Douglas shoot interview on his return to the

federation calling Razor Ramon a cock****** also about

Shawn Michaels sucking the big one at Wrestlemania.

The crowd went nuts

No man, Benoit and Jericho never won the tag straps in Canehda, they won them the night after Judgement Day, in the States. Come to think of it, the pop the two of them got in Edmonton last year was pretty freaking loud. Like a 5 minute long standing ovation, shades of Canadian Stampede, (Meltzer's words, not mine).

Also, the crowd could get pretty "hoss" for the Triple Crown matches between Kawada and Misawa in All-Japan. Who'd have thought that the quiet, "reserved" Japanese fans could make so much noise?

Finally, one of my favourite pops ever was Sasuke's at Super-J '94. In a tourney that included the great Lyger, he was the most over guy in the entire building. Folks, being more over than Liyger is no easy feat in itself. Then his entrance for the final match was awesome, one of my all-time favourite entrances, but anyway.....
