Mine is Grand Theft Auto Vice city, a very enjoyable game all round. State of emergency was pretty cool as well.

I have a lot of top fave PS2 games, I have most of these like:

 

In no particular order:

 

1. GTA:VC - Freedom and violent nature - cool stuff

2. MGS2:SOF - It's Metal Gear!!!

3. MOH:F - WW2 at it's upmost best

4. GTA3 - A huge leap from the previous PSOne series

5. Crash 6 - Same - Ye Olde Crashe

6. SD!SYM - Despite no major difference, great season mode!!!

7. R&C - Best platformer to date

8. TR:AOD - I think it's cool

9. Ridge Racer V - Cool Arcade - em - up

10. Moto GP - It's bike racing, though old!!!

11. Headhunter - Though lacking Storyline, it works

What's your lot?

Heres my top 5:

 

1. Grand Theft Auto Vice City - Excellent gameplay, and the best replayability in a game I have ever seen, had me hooked for months trying to get 100% (Couldn't get past 68% unfortuneatly :()

 

2. Metal Gear Solid 2 - Although the storyline isn't quite up to the standards on the first installment, it is still a fantasic game, with the best graphics I have ever seen on a PS2 game.

 

3. Grand Theft Auto 3 - Another brilliant GTA, not as good gameplay as Vice City, but a far better storyline and enjoyable missions, probably overall a more polished game than VC, but I still prefer the latter.

 

4. Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance - Wasn't really expecting much when I first played it but after a few matches for me it blew the Tekken Series out of the water. Love the gameplay engine, and theres lot of fun to be had with the Fatalities. Although I think Soul Caliber 2 will take the title for best Beat Em Up when its released.

 

5. Ratchet and Clank - Although I found it very dissapointing at first, it does pick up after it kinda dwindles off half way through the game, and the graphics are great, and theres loads of different weapon options.

 

I'd say they were my top 5, others are SD SYM, Jak and Daxter, Crash TWOC (Although it got bad reviews, I really enjoyed playing it), Tekken 4, and Timesplitters 2.

So far - even though I don't have lots of games now :( - but I've really enjoyed playing:

 

This is Football 2003 - Easily the best alternative when I get bored with FIFA and PES!

 

Pride FC - A joyful game to go if you're in the mood to dish out some punishment!

 

Rocky - Even though it can get difficult at times - it is a enjoyable game - but - it depends if you're a fan of the Rocky films (I do - I even got the DVD Boxset! :) )

 

GTA: VC - Simple enough - the game to let your rebellious side out!

 

State of Emergency - Although a good game - at times it can get ridicious - with hordes of police officers coming in after each other!

 

Die Hard Vendetta - a great game! - but at times frustating as sometimes you don't know what to do next!

Quite right Peter, quite right, you are indeed correct, I'd review it, but games like Soul Calibur 2, aren't my type of game.

 

But I can tell you, that even if you or anyone reading this, is even thinking the minor of buying this game, tell you what, I'll make your minds up for you - buy it.

And could hardly think of a bad thing to say about it!!!

 

It kicks ass to practically every fighting game ever made, apparently, so, Peter, if you wanna, definently buy it!!!

Yeah SC2 looks excellent, I don't think its out to buy yet, but I think it is available for rental. (although I could be wrong).

Hitman 2: Silent Assassin - Great game

 

PRIDE FC - Best Beat em' up I've ever played

 

UFC Throwdown - 2nd best beat em' up

 

Rocky - Cool story mode

 

By the way I've heard all this hype about SC2 going to be the best beat em' up ever! Really? Will it be a next genaration type fighting game like PRIDE or UFC with ground fighting and clinching, if not I doubt I will favour it!
