Hey yo got a copy of club football on PS2 today the Man.Utd version this game looks great but the gameplay seems difficult even on the easy level lol.

 

Did anyone buy a version of this game and what ya think gameplay wise???

 

Pro Evolution Soccer 3 and FIFA 2004 will be better than this lol

Just read the review in OPS2 Mag, as you say not up to Pro Evo or FIFA standards but well worth a look as long as you support one of the fetured teams.

 

Went to rent a copy but it seem my local Blockbusters are some way behind with their "new releases".

I managed to rent a copy from a local shop, and it aint too bad. As expected it aint better than fifa or pro evo, however it is well worth a play. I did like the idea of Codemasters making different games for each of the "major" world teams, i know Aston villa have one but thats the exception!

Did the same at my local Blockbuster - and asked them if they would have them on rent - "No" was their reponse - looks like we'll have to part with almost £40 for the game.

 

I wonder about the other branches though? :? - AlanJP - which store did you rent the game from - an indepedent store?

I'm not paying £40 for a game that probably isn't up to standard. I only want to have a look at it. Blockbusters are absolutely useless for games rental.

Keep the reciept and if you don't like the game - take it back saying that you don't like the game - I always do that ;)

I think i'll save my money for HCTP ;)

An independent store here on Canvey. Island Videos is its name. they normally get new games fairly quickly. The blockbuster here is like the others described above, Useless!

Thanks AlanJP! - my local Blockbuster's latest release are the "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004" - and the next new release for rental are FIFA Football 2004.

 

So - I agree with you AlanJP on your statement that the store's releases are quite useless.
