the angles are quite short but they're only short because they're written and booked so badly. But then on the other hand would you really want months of ten minute hhh entrances or more tv time for Vince and Flair. Flair dribbling over the camera when he talks and Vince tugging his ear and gulping at a lame attempt at acting. What i do want is an edgy long running storyline for the older fans to bring back some credibility to pro wrestling. Maybe the nWo will be that.

the next thing would be Shawn Micheals coming back to the WWF, X-Pac recovring from his injuries, Road Dogg and Chyna given a second chance [as if!] and them four along with Triple H form DX again and go in an angle against the NWO.

Of course nothing is built up...12 PPVs a year, all with the same talent. You don't see it in Boxing, you don't see it in film, you don't see it in concerts, you ... etc, etc, etc, etc!

Benoits return will be quite good, probably at WM which is in Canada so he'll get a good pop. The WWF should include Benoit on the WM promotional material.

I think it' very difficult for the WWF to come up with 2 good shows each week and a god PPV each month. The storylines just get boring after youve wached them unfold on Raw and Smackdown for 2 or 3 weeks.

Thats why the roster split is a good idea, different storys on different shows each week will be beter than the same old crap twice a week.

I'd only call it crap because anything I actually want to say would be edited...

Watch the Ted Dibiase shoot tape and you'll get a good idea of what I think about wrestling (sports entertainment/shock and crash pulp TV) nowadays.

the problem with wwf is that it has no competition so it feels relaxed in the ratings. when wcw was at its peak in 1997/1998, the WWF gave the fans exciting, refreshing storylines because they had to.

also, wwf cannot afford to make the two companies the same. one needs to be edgier or more suited towards one age group and the other towards another age group.
