Not on the list, but Claudio Lopez (Lazio), Saviola (Barcá) and Montella (Roma) are all great, when on top form. From the list, I'd say Andreji Shevchenko. He's got just about everything you want from a striker.

 

Outside of Europe, the best striker is Del Gado of Boca. He da man, and I can't believe he's not been snapped up by a big European team by now.

Batistuta is probably the greatest striker of all time, when he play's he's always a threat and more times than not he scores.

 

I'd like to know what his career goals/games ratio is.

yeah he's been great but his form this year has been terrible it's only reputation that will get him to the world cup.

 

I don't think you casn look futher than van nistelroy, or raul.

 

Owen has the pace but stilll needs to finishing. I'm also a fan of henry but i feel he can be so mellow dramatic

Batistuta is getting on a bit now, he's well into is thirties and is not the player he once was. I think it's a shame h spent his career at a mediocre Italian team, Fiorentina. It would have been better had he played at one of Europes top teams.

I`ll g for Van Nistelrooy on his finishing but Crespo is pretty decent player too and Ole gunnar Soljear us just being wasted on the united bench although hes gettin a few games now and is scroing too :)
