I've recently been reading "the idiots guide to pro wrestling" and it's a great book. I'd recommend it to all wrestling fans. It contains all the facts, history and backround information that u'd wanna know.

I bought that book (Idiot's Guide) about 3 years ago and thought it was very aptly titled - it's garbage!

It's cover to cover of misinformation and mistakes.

As the title suggests,it is for those new to pro-wrestling and it provides a nice introduction to those not familiar with those strange wrestling phrases.Long time fans with a decent knowledge of 'sports-entertainment' should stear clear as it does contain some errors. Those that want a guide to titles and their past winners should try to track down a copy of PWI's Wrestling Almanac which is released once every year.

I too have this book and while I suppose it is good for newbies, who are just getting into wrestling, it really wouldn't tell the "hardcore" fan anything they didn't already know. Plus, it does contain a fair share of mistakes.

Only really worth reading if you're starting from scratch.
