What are your views on the WWF Desire video from this weeks Raw?.

Personally I was blown away by it.I will admit to having tears in my eyes as this package brought back some fantastic memories.Touching footage of Owen Hart,Rick Rude and Andre. From the Piper/Snuka incident on 'Pipers Pit' to the appearance of Scott Hall on Nitro to the Survivor Series '97 'Screw Job' this video pretty much had it all.

Do you think they missed anything out that should have been included?.

I'm sure I'm not the only one to get some stupid comments about being a wrestling fan,but after seeing this video I know that it has been worth every damn bit of it.

After i saw The WWF Desire Clip i have to admit that it did bring a tear to my eye because even though I wasn't watching WWF when wrestling legends like Andre, Ric Flair and Bret were around i still new how much they had done for the business. It was a great Promo Videos shown at a great time :) It was also very funny when my dad knew some of the wrestlers at the beginning.

I think it was a great promo vid, and i have only been watching wrestling for a year and a half, but it made me think of all the ledgends which have built the wwf to what it is today. Some of the first desire promo vids were good, but this one was 100% better!

Watching WWF for 14 odd years, ive seen the wwf change. That video made me remember where it started. From Vince McMahon Sr to the pics of Andre standing next to Vince Jr. It added nwo clips and madusa throwing the wwf womens belt into the bin (although wwf repayed the favour by throwing wcw into the bin.). It brought back the days where fans were shocked by anything. Where have them days gone?

The one thing the video shows is how quickly the WWF shifted from wrestling to sports entertainment pantomine.

It's a superb piece of work though, only team missing were The Road Warriors...strange. Rude, Andre, Pillman, Owen... :(

I thought it was absolutely exceptional, and I almost feel it should be played before every Raw and Smackdown, it is that good.

All those memories, I cannot think of any things they missed out that should have been there.

Hate to be picky, but I could think of some things they could have included.

*Mr. Perfect

*First ever ladder/Hell in a Cell matches

*The day Hulkamania died

*Regal kissing Vince's arse

Well maybe not the last one. Any other suggestions?

I wasn't disappointed but i'd have thought they would have stuck Bigshow in there. They could have done Gorilla Monsoon then Andre then Giant Gonzalez (maybe not him) then the Big Show, as a "History of the Big Men" of the federation like they did with the history of the women's belt.

just a thought

As I said, I thought it was amazing, but I agree with BRM, it is a tad ridiculous for it to warrant someone crying. Especially when they say the Owen bit...it was only a tiny 1 second (if that) clip.

Over the top to cry, dontcha think?

No NJC,I dont think its over the top to get a bit emotional about that video.Speaking for myself,I said that I had tears in my eyes and that was because I have followed the WWF for twelve years and seeing some of the moments and wrestlers that made me grow to love the buisness again in what was a superb package, did make me emotional.I guess that if you are new to wrestling and the WWF then the meaning of this video would be lost on you.If you have been a fan for years and love wrestling then that video was a "wrestling dream".
