  1. Breaking Bad was the best thing I've watched since The X Files. I know they're two very different genre's, but the writing on both was fantastic.

These are the kind of movies that you watch and try to imagine what was going through the creator's mind. I hardly stop what I start (even when I don't get the hang of it).

  2. The thing about visiting numerous websites and opening may tabs means that there will be lots of temporary files and cookies stored on your PC or laptop. You have to keep clearing these so that your computer doesn't lag.

Failing to clear cookies and temporary files over a long time could lead to lagging. Not shutting down your PC or laptop for a long time also affects its performance. For me, anything more than five tabs at a go is a lot!

  3. Smartphones have come a long way, and now it is possible to have a full console-quality gaming experience on choice phones. I use the phone only when on the go. Phones built with gaming in mind include Asus ROG 3, Razer Phone 2, Black Shark 2, and Nubia Red Magic 5G, among others.
  4. That's been a tradition in the richest bloodlines in the world for centuries. Wanna keep your money? Keep everything in the family. I would consider watching it for that angle alone.

Do you believe everything you see on a reality TV show? I tend to think that some portions get exaggerated to attract a bigger audience. I will watch this to get a glimpse of the conspiracy theories that revolve around moneyed households.

  5. I don't mind social gatherings at all, but it gets weird when photos start getting snapped. I have never understood why people fancy sharing their photos online, even with the debate around data breaches in social media sites.
  6. I have long been a fan of basketball and feel that the NBA bubble is a great concept, even though a few fans and non-fans view the situation as illegitimate. The game is most popular in the US, though there exist most basketball leagues around the world.
  7. When asked about a potential fight with the WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion, he told ESPN: "One hundred percent Joshua's not dangerous, at all, he's like a big cuddly baby." The psychological games have begun in earnest. Would a unification bout between the pair be a fight of the century?
  8. Humans have been emitting greenhouse gases, and this has led to a rise in global temperature of more than 1-degree centigrade. See, climate change means more extreme weather, and different places are either experiencing record-breaking heat or more freezing conditions.
  9. Does fame get into people's heads sometimes and blinds their conscience? Roman Polanski, for instance, pleaded guilty to statutory rape while awaiting sentencing in his sexual abuse case, he managed to flee the country. Forty-two years later, he continues to be a fugitive of the US criminal justice system, rarely leaving France.
  10. I noticed that right after the postponement announcement, Japan's government and/or media got a lot more transparent about the C19 spread within the country.

It didn't make sense for the Japanese government to insist on hosting the competition, and if the postponement made it more transparent, the better! 2021 is going to be a busy year considering the urgency around the conclusion of most sporting activities.

  11. Nicholas Cage was in a league of his own, and so was Denzel Washington. Face Off, Bad Lieutenant, Training Day, Inside Man, and Deja Vu are other movies I enjoyed. Titus Welliver is another accomplished actor.
  12. Working from home is now a global phenomenon. Companies that weren't too receptive of this idea are now having to resort to it. The main challenge is in planning your time and avoiding distractions. Like @DandyMandy says, face-to-face interactions at the workplace make it easier to handle some tasks.
  13. Honestly, binge watching can be pretty tiring for me personally haha. Though I also like to sit and just watch 3-4 movies a day when I have nothing to do. I wonder if there are any good recommendations haha.

How do people manage to binge-watch? I either get tired of watching, or my concentration wanes after a few hours. I have gotten used to doing an episode or two whenever I can spare some time.

  14. It wasn't going to look good for countries to keep pulling out when it was apparent that the atmosphere wasn't the best. The competition may have been a few months away, but a lot goes into preparing for the Olympics. The postponement was in the best interest of everyone!
  15. At the very least I bet it will be postponed. Imagine how much money the host country has already spent preparing for the games. Yikes!

The host country has spent a lot already, and its reluctance to cancel a competition four months away is understandable. Japan doesn't want to rush things in the hope that things will have resumed to normal by then, but there are indications that postponement is on the cards.

  16. We all started working from home from the beginning of this week. Whereas it was easy at first, everything fell into place and now productive than ever before. If I had a choice, it would be to work remotely!
  17. One minute he's a WWE wrestler and the next, he's fanning rumors that he's looking towards the MMA as his next adventure. Fury is all about the money rather than the sport itself. He's just a brand. All of that coupled with Fury's previous drug use and I think Wilder will come out on top. I think most bookmakers are saying that Fury is slightly more likely to win, so I could be very wrong.

I also heard rumours about him wanting to join the MMA. These two are great fighters, and I think it will come down to who hits first, accurately. It might as well end through a KO!

  18. My movie count for last year was less than 3 (excluding Joker), but based on the trailer, I believe that it ranks among the best. Is any of you a fan of animations?

Animations are my favourite, and IMO, The Lion King, The Addams Family and Abominable ranked highly. There are some more to look forward to this year including Onward, Sonic the Hedgehog, SCOOB and The Willoughbys.

  19. The team that represents the town the child was born in. That's what the parents did when they were at their childs' age, and.........it's the "right" thing to do.

The choice will be the child's when the time comes, and this can go either way. Have you seen household's where each person supports a different team? We all tend to choose differently, and it all comes down to loyalty!
