  1. I think Sabrina the Teenage Witch was the last one I abandoned. I tend to stick it out really. I think disappointing shows are easier to take when you tune in every week because you've invested in them already. I abandon lots of shows when I'm bingeing them. One or two bad episodes and I'm out.

When bingeing, no one ever wants to move from an excellent movie to a boring one, and so I understand why you would abandon some of them along the way!

  2. I have heard numerous stories of people who left their careers to concentrate on writing. Some followed this path as a hobby, then ended up overwhelmed and having to make a choice. It may be about timing and also being passionate about everything they do.
  3. I prefer to set my regime rather than have someone else determine when I should keep fit. The downside is that inconsistency can set in. I think it depends on one's schedule, and a training partner can help in keeping someone in check.
  4. The standards displayed in this season's competition could be the highest fans have witnessed in a long time. Manchester United and Liverpool lost by big margins over the weekend, but luckily, there is still time for the out-of-form teams to rectify their mistakes.

  5. @Dwayne, I think it comes on in a month or two. Bravo is hyping it up.

I don't think that's what this one was about. Apparently there was a power struggle for the inheritance. The stepfather was MUCH younger than the grandmother when they married. It's rare that the dude is the gold digger in a relationship, but that looks like the motive here. Then after her grandmother passed, marrying her stepfather seems to have allowed Mary Crosby to inherit everything over her mother. I wondered why the inheritance was skipping a generation. I have no idea what the whole story is, but I bet it'll make for good television.

You had a good point though. I could see someone marrying a step in order to keep them from taking what they see as their family's money.

Wow, I will have to watch this one hoping that it is worth every minute of the hype. What the story is all about will become clearer once it airs, but I can already see how interesting but twisted the plot could be.

  6. I couldn't get the hang of Outlander and Black Sails. I also know that almost everyone else enjoyed Breaking Bad, yet I didn't watch it past the first season.

Except for Black Sails, I enjoyed the first two seasons of Outlander and watched Breaking Bad till the end. For the latter's case, the plot builds slowly, especially at the beginning.
