Does everyone enjoy the same thing? No, if we all did, the world would be a boring place. Why would no-one enjoy this years Taker match over last years? I enjoyed it more, ME.

 

I enjoyed Batista vs Cena, I don't really give a flying f*** if no-one else enjoyed it as much, you can't really say how I felt about a match is wrong, because you didn't see it through my eyes you imbocile. Why are my ratings anymore bullshit than anyone else's? Oh wait because YOU don't agree with them.

 

I didn't realise you were Dave Frikkin Meltzer. Come down off your high horse.

 

Of course everyone rates things differently, but there is a difference between that and being blinkered!!

OTT? Not really, I marked them for how I felt about them watching them, not 'general feeling' or other people's opinions. I don't work for PWInsider. My match ratings aren't going to decide Match of the Decade or whatever, these are... and this is important.. MY opinions. I never once said last year's wasn't a good match did I? I said this year's was better, and it was a perfect match, as was last years. I wouldn't completely judge them against each other, but on their own merits. I enjoyed last years, and that would have scored 10 in my eyes, this year was better, and too was a 10. I don't really see how being a big WWE fan has anything to do with it. If I like TNA does that mean I have to mark everything down?

 

I loved Cena vs Batista, it was as close to a perfect match as I can remember other than Taker vs HBK. For all the Cena naysayers, there's no denying he can put on one hell of a match. And I hate Batista, literally physically hate him, but that match was truely amazing for me, and I'd gladly watch it again.

 

Fair enough! I agree Cena is a good worker, but to give it a near perfect score it has to stand up against anything. Compare it to his match at rr against Umaga. I know i'll get the sh*t ripped out of me for saying this, but hiding behind the it's my opinion so i cant be wrong is crap. Opinion's are wrong all the time. I'm certain no one here would rate taker vs michaels this year higher than last year's, and nobody would rate batista vs cena as high as you. Opinion's are one thing, but coming up with ott bull sh*t ratings after a pi**s poor barely above average mania is just embarrassing. Anyway dont take offence it's just my opinion!!

Fletch 9.5 out of 10 for cena batista really? If your gonna give 10 out of 10 for the final match, then your saying it's perfect. So what would you score last years? Seeing as the general feeling is that was one of the best mania matches of all time. If your a big wwe fan then fine, but why go so ott with your scoring?

It was slightly worse than last year which was up until then the worse mania i had ever seen. Last year however was saved by the greatness that was taker vs micheals. The rematch was never gone live up to the hype, but i still had high hopes for it. Unfortunately it was just above average,and thats being kind. I understand that everyone is entitled to an opinion, but there is having an opinion and there is being a fanboy!! It was wrestlemania for f**ck sake!!! It felt more like a b level show, the match quality was truly s**t, and even there usually faultless production was off. Anyone who tries to say that was a good mania is just kidding themselves. Three great main events are you serious? Compared to what shimmer or some other 2bit fed sh*t!!

I said sherdog purely because its the most extreme and funny example.

 

But fully agree on Fedor, except I think that if Brock can get him down and can neutralise him using his weight like with Mir then brock will get the win. That said, Fedor is a damned slippery fighter and I wouldnt bet my house on Brock doing that even if he got him down.

 

I'd risk a tenner on Brock mind. :lol

 

 

Brock's size and power would definately represent a huge problem for Fedor. Although i think Fedor would win 9/10 times it would still be an extremely tough fight for him. Now if this was to happen in say 2 years time the fight would be far more even. A much more even fight about now would be Brock vs Barnett, i think Barnett will give Fedor his toughest fight to date and when he loses hopefully we will see him back in the ufc [although with the history he has with Dana that seems unlikely]and challenging Brock!!

Yeah your right, i've always thought HBK was overrated too.

Being off ill this week from what i have enquired, it made perfect sense to put it in the slot it was, and that there really wasnt a better place to put it throughout the show and that they were promoting the Taker v Batista match as 'Up Next' for most of the show.

 

I really dont see the point of complaining about it to be honest. I find that a tad childish, especially as you hate the feature anyway. What you have to understand is that the feature is always going to be in the show, it cant be put after the show ends or before it starts because it is 'part' of Smackdown the show, Secondly, you treat it as if its thrown in anywhere.

 

It always considered where it should be put, and the best place with regards to continuity. I always look at your complaints in order to help the fans enjoyment, but at times I feel exasperated, I am not asking you to understand the production of the show, but if you really dont like the feature, why continue to watch it or let it bother you, does something so trivial really ruin your enjoyment of Smackdown?

Yeah HMV can get you TNA DVDs, through their stores in Canada, but they aint cheap.

They fleece you on the importing charges from what I understand.

 

No they can't!!! Also we dont order from stores we order from suppliers, and none of hmv's Uk suppliers sell tna dvd's.

TNA figures are in a Toys R Us shop near me, My brother spend some serious money on them. He has got the ring, Aj Styles and Samoa Joe! (I'm so jealous) Toys R Us have ordered him the cage ring too. I asked the guy in the shop if TNA was popular and he goes the stuff sells good.

 

This was a few months ago but still, I think it was worthwhile.

 

As for DVD's try asking the shops! I did and they told me they could sell them to me if I want them. This was HMV!

 

I work in HMV and i can assure you we can't get hold of TNA dvd's.

I just don't think wrestlers are told "don't be as good as you can". It's one of the stupidest things to tell your employees, and I simply don't believe it.

 

It's probably one of the smartest thing from a booking perspective. They can't have their main eventers looking inadequate, and that's how they will be percieved if the cruisers are let off the leash.

He was really good last year and he probably would be good this year too if he wasnt in a fued with the McMahons.

There's nothng wrong with liking it, but dont you think they should quit revisiting the past? I mean they've brought DX back now there is talk of the NWO. When do they stop looking backwards and start moving forwards?

Whether he is a legit tough guy is a matter of opinion. You think he is and have probably come across stories that can back your claim up. I dont think he is and i have come across lot's of stories that have made me draw this conclusion. That's why i find it hard to buy into his gimmick.

So because Bob Holly is a legit Tough Guy, means is Tough Guy gimmick isnt Believable.....

1) What is your fascination with Judy Bagwell?

 

2) Who are you to criticise me for suggesting angles when all you seem to do is try to be humourous with your sarcastic comments?

 

3) I hardly think it is outlandish to suggest a feud between two wrestlers and if you have done your homework you would know that quite often promotions have put two guys together in a match on ppv and called it a feud having only had one week of history behind it,so how am I outlandish again?

 

4) I have no problem debating,it's a highlight of this forum that not everybody is biased towards wwe or tna,that's what I like about it but it seems you're idea of debating is,as mentioned above sarcastic humour that very few people find entertaining.
