  1. Thing is, they are trying to angle at the smark crowd and sparks tend to hate someone in a position of power pushing themselves. See HHH circa 2002 (perceived or real). Cody would be beat utilised as a constant gatekeeper.
  2. AEW need to not put a name overly associated with WWE. They dont need anyone who could be called a 'WWE reject' (rightly or wrongly) to be seen as better than 'their guys'. Dont get me wrong, keep them strong as it adds value to them being beaten.
  3. There was an anti vax guy on TWO for a while. I think he had about 10 kids and swore he worked full time but still had enough time for all of them. I assume he slept 3 hours a week.
  4. Have a wedding within your means, dont expect others to pay for it. Nothing wrong with a registry office/courtroom wedding!

I say that after my father in law just paid for a massive wedding for me and the new wife (oh yeah, I have got divorced and married again @Kam) in a country house with a free bar (unusual in the UK).

We did say if anyone gave gifts that we would want cash for the honeymoon, but that was purely practical as we have lived together for a few years.

  5. Fletch and Wayne! Blimey. Old guard there, both survivors of the old TWOMeets when we used to watch 1PW shows at the Dome, or all crash at mine for Mania.

    And both former TWOStars writers!

Edit: not watched any AEW, in fact barely any wrestling at all. I dont have time these days.

  6. So come on, who do you think did the best combo of Batman and Bruce Wayne?

    1943 Lewis Wilson

    1949 Robert Lowery.

    Adam West, 60s, camp Batman.

1989, Michael Keaton in Tim Burtons gothic return to darkness.

1995 Val Kilmer. In my eyes a great Batman but terrible Bruce Wayne.

1997 George Clooney. Batnipples. But a good Bruce Wayne at least. Clooney has apologised for how bad the film is (as did the director Joel Schumacher).

The Dark Night Trilogy, Christian Bale. A more realistic (hey, its all comparative) take on Batman.

DCCU/DCEU Ben Affleck. A less streamlined but more muscular and battle scarred Batman.

    What do you think?

For me it has to be Batfleck. A great Batman and Bruce Wayne who seemed genuinely dangerous both physically and mentally. The stand out in Dawn of Justice for sure.

  7. My only issue is that they made it seem like Joker gives a damn about Harley which he doesn't in a traditional sense. He doesn't want anyone else to have her, she's his toy but he wouldn't go to such great lengths to get her out of prison, he is actually quite abusive

2 things; firstly they filmed it like that and then cut loads out because they wanted to go the other way, and secondly its a different canon to comics so maybe this one does love Harley.

  8. What was the point of slipknot?

    ... to die.

Yesterday a coworker came into work purely to tell me I was wrong for enjoying the film. he says the film made him so angry he would have walked out if he hadn't paid. :lol

  9. Gringo

    Halestorm

Hauntingly beautiful performance. Just... perfect. Honestly perfect. 10/10 with ease.

    Corey Taylor

I really am not a fan of Slipknot and expected to hate this. But its actually OK. The vocals are a lot better than I expected, in fact they're pretty good, and I'm a sucker for an acoustic performance. Yeah, I'm not a huge fan but I certainly enjoyed it. 7/10

    King

    Springsteen and Morello

Its starts off like the theme to Angel.

Anyhow, I do like a bit of folksy stuff. And this version keeps the feel while updating the sound, something that's always a difficult act. Then, however, the guitar solos start and the track loses me big style. I hate this sort of stuff (ironic for a fan of Marillion and Queen). 5/10

    Guns N Roses

The eternal intro... fuck sake. Just get on with it already. I could decipher a Jayfunk post in the time this took to get cracking on.

Oh, here we go. Yeah, Axls voice is fucked, yet its still a better sound than a lot at their peak! Still a beautiful song isn't it, makes me smile as it takes me back to being a young teen. :) 7/10

    Laffy

    Osmonds

This is just kinda there. It felt like it was just starting to get really started and then BOOM, its done. Eh. 5/10

    Celine Dion and Josh Groban

Well you cant fault the vocal performances. Though it does sound like what it is; an animated film song. Decent though, I admit I found myself swaying to it a bit. 6.5/10
