  1. I heard good things about it! I haven't played Assassin's Creed since Syndicate (the one before Origins), but I do want to get back into the newer ones someday. Glad to hear you love it! I look forward to it someday I'm in the middle of Alan Wake II right now and I'm enjoying every second I'm in that world. It's so good.
  2. I completely understand the 'zombie mode' feeling, so I appreciate you jumping in to share your thoughts. Fluid Mode - It's the best way to showcase content from all the communities, but my challenge was finding a way to organize it so it wasn't information overload, while also being easy to navigate. This iteration finally feels 'useful' Table Mode is a new addition - You have a keen eye! This is a members-only feature that I've been debating on adding for that nostalgia kick. It won't show content from the different Fan Clubs, but it's great for a step back in time and a more focused experience. ------------------------- What you described about the deep dive and quick update is exactly what I'm hoping to achieve. Great to hear that's how you plan on using them. Got one more on the way (Coming in 2024) - This option blends Grid Mode with Fluid, and Table views, potentially replacing the current Grid Mode. It's what I would expect most people to use when they want a more focused (deep dive) experience. Appreciate it as always, thank you!
  3. Hope all is well, @worm. Just dropping a message to share that Fluid Mode is once again front-and-center after a bunch of touch-ups. I would love your thoughts on the latest updates to the homepage / fluid mode if you have any. Thanks as always!

    2023 NFL Season

Week 15 got off to a bang last night with the Raiders scoring a whopping 63 POINTS against the Chargers. Sorry Chargers fans. At least the Broncos proved you can have a game like this and still turn it around.

The Game Awards streams live on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The Nominees - Place your votes!
  9. Ian Rapoport says this will be a highly coveted role He's one of the few Insiders who actually knows what's happening on the inside, so there's no reason to discount what he says here. Like many Panther fans, I'm hoping we get Ben Johnson from the Lions. I wanted him last year and my thoughts haven't changed. That being said, I fully realize that I don't know squat about whether somebody will be a good Head Coach or not.
  10. Source: NFL.com These are dark days. And they may continue for a while. In 2001, when we went 1-15, there was still hope. We had some high-potential rookies on that team like Steve Smith, Dan Morgan, and Kris Jenkins. We had the #2 pick in the draft the next season and took Julius Peppers. You could feel there was a chance that things could turn around if we got the right coach. 2 years later, we were in the Super Bowl. In 2010, when we went 2-14 we had the #1 pick in the draft the next year and got Cam Newton. We also got Greg Olsen for a 3rd round pick that same season. We had a mix of young talent and vets like Ryan Kalil, DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart, Jeremy Shockey, Jordan Gross, a pre-psychotic Greg Hardy, and Chris Gamble. In 2012 we got Luke Kuechly and 2013 - 2017 ended up being a great stretch where we made the playoffs 4 of those 5 years, including our 15-1 Super Bowl run. This year, we're 1-10, no first-round pick next season, and our last 3 first-rounders are still question marks. Jaycee Horn has the talent, but can he stay on the field? Icky looks like he only knows how to run block, while his pass blocking is probably the worst in the NFL this season. Bryce Young gets an incomplete for now. Marty Hurney was awful drafting after the 1st round, so-so in Free Agency, and a bit too loyal to our own homegrown players. His saving grace was that he never missed on a 1st rounder. We always had talent thanks to those picks and they were the core and identity of the team for a good decade and a half. Whoever it is that takes the reigns has their work cut out for them. Hopefully, Tepper learns he needs to put the right people in charge of football operations. Let's hope that the 3rd Head Coach hire is the charm and we pair him with the right GM so we can start to right this ship. Hang in there, Panthers fans.
  11. All of those updates sound amazing. Thanks for the breakdown, @worm! I love the care Valve puts into their products, which is something that's remained a constant since day 1. They offered Half-Life for free at some point in the last week or two as part of the 25th anniversary, which I was able to snag. I originally played it via the physical copy, so it's nice to finally have it in my library on Steam. It's only 99 cents now, though, as well as Half-Life 2. P.S. For those who may have missed it, there was a great documentary Valve put out on YouTube for the anniversary.
  12. Yup, Ghibli Fest is the best! I was able to see one or two more movies in theaters thanks to it. But this will be one of the rare times I get to at-release. I think other theaters do Ghibli Fest or something similar. It looks like there are early screenings of The Boy and the Heron in IMAX theaters, which start on December 4th . I checked the two nearby IMAX theaters and they're only offering the subbed version, though, with the dubbed version releasing on December 7th.
  13. The best I could find is that it could be in the first quarter of 2024 since it's already been rated... Ratings like these typically only happen closer to a game's release date as opposed to further out, so we could very well be looking at a release window of sometime within the first three months of 2024. 14. Most definitely! I think this is only going to be my second time seeing a Studio Ghibli film in theaters during its theatrical release. I'm pretty sure the only other one was The Secret World of Arrietty.
  15. Whatever is going on life-wise, I hope things work out. But I'm glad to see you stop by again. There's a major update planned for early 2024, so keep your eyes peeled when you do get a chance to stop by.

  17. There aren't any spoilers, and the clips don't really show any story content at all
  18. @worm, I haven't gotten around to that AI video I mentioned, but my next one goes into Half-Life: Alyx (Quest 2 vs Quest 3). I'll share it in the Half-Life Club once it's ready. Hopefully by the end of the week
  19. Welcome to the site, @RockStar!

  20. The forum directory has officially been married to the homepage, putting our selection of forums front and center. You can still access the fluid mode via the toggle near the top of the page to show content across the whole site, by default. Alternatively, clicking the 'General Entertainment' category will show you all the subforums in one filterable location as well. The Lounge works the same way.
