  1. Well I'm older than you so I guess that makes me bigger and cleverer than you.

    Doubt it! ;)

If you put a disc with loads of avi movies on it into the PS3, what happens?

    Does it blow up?

  2. Okay im very intersted to know...whats better?

    PS3 or xbox 360?

Personally id say Xbox 360 because of the fact that it has better graphics

    better gameplay and better controlls.

The wireless PS3 controller doesnt suit the Playstation but the

    Xbox wireless does...

Also the prices on the PS3 games are absaloute CRAP

i mean xbox 360 prices arent exactly the best but come on...50 odd pound

for one game..just not worth it

    But what do YOU think???

I'd be interested to know where you dug all of that crap up from, the graphics on my PS3 will piss all over any standard X-Box because it's connected to a full HD TV with an HDMI lead. Only the 360 Elite offers an HDMI connection, and as Darkie points out that's only £5 cheaper than the PS3 and has no Blu-ray player. Sorry but the reason why the PS3 is more expensive is because it is a better machine, but from what I can see there's no difference in gaming on either.

  3. Just to kind of back-up my earlier point, Play.com are knocking out a Samsung Blu-Ray player for £230.

Weird how they cut the price now the so called "war" is over, you'd have thought they'd have been slashing the prices of these when there was competition around from HD-DVD.

I certainly have no regrets about buying the PS3, even after paying £415 on release, for a start all my mates now have one so I can play online with them, whereas I only know one person offline with an X-Box 360. Blu-ray player is great, HDMI is great, multimedia stuff on it is great. Good point about a lack of exclusive games, but the ones i'm looking forward to are Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Metal Gear Solid and GTA4, which I could also play on a 360.

  4.

Sony #1: How about one which comes with 3 films that you can watch on Sky and even download on to the Xbox.

    In HD?

But that film package does suck for gamers, but the PS3 is the cheapest Blu-Ray player on the market, so I assume they're trying to tap into that market.

  5. PS3 as a stand alone games console doesn't really compare to X-Box 360 at the moment, but I'm using mine for videos, mp3's, Blu Rays, DVD's as well as games. Awesome piece of kit, if you want something that pretty much does anything you could ask of it then it's worth the money. If you just want a games console then wait till the price drops.

Wii is also great, I'm getting one soon.

  6. I got one, wasn't intending too but it was too much of a temptation when I learned that they hadn't sold out and that I could walk into Game and buy one. Got Need for Speed Carbon with it which is ok, and Tiger Woods 07 which is great. Just need a HD TV now.
  7. It depends though, you pay good money to see them and if they aren't performing week in week out I can understand the fans frustrations.

Though alot of the fans do over react which I do hate.

Although Man Utd fans are the worst of all, one bad match at Old Trafford and it's a ****ing disgrace by the volume of the crowd at the end.

When was the last time United got booed off at Old Trafford? I just think it's negative, why would you want to try harder for a bunch of fans who boo you off the pitch? There's more incentive to try harder for a set of fans who are behind you.

  9. The worst chant is "OOH ARE YA", Birmingham are the worst for that (sorry Nic).

Leaving the ground early sucks or any event where people are performing, it's rude, you should stay till the end to applaud. Booing your team off the pitch is also something I hate.

  11. I'd rather Man Utd won it ahead of Chelsea, but regardless of league position it's always great to beat your rivals.

We've humiliated Liverpool, beat Man Utd home and away, now all is left is to do the double on Spurs and beat Chelsea at home.

And let's face it, Man Utd and Chelsea both wish they could go a whole season unbeaten:xyx

I'm sure Arsenal wish they could win the Treble, or even just one European Cup. :P

  13. 3 or 4 injuries?

    try

    Joe Cole

    Carvalho

    Terry

    Cudicini

    Robben

    Bridge

    Boularouz

and really, Liverpool did nothing special to win the match they didn't have to, their two goals were down to extremely poor marking by a make shift defence

and then Liverpool did their usual tactic of crowding out the midfield which worked well

Carvallho and Terry are the one's they're missing, is Boularouz the only other centre back Chelsea have? Seriously for a club like Chelsea to only have 3 centre backs on their books is poor, and when one of them's Boularouz it's nothing short of farcical.

So Paulo Ferreira and Essien play in central defence, Chelsea have nobody else to blame but themselves for that. Strength in depth? Nice one!

  15. well Liverpool are 2-0 after 22 minutes, but Chelsea are playing with Ferrera and Essien in defence after Carvahlo woke up ill, so they have had no time to prepare, the first Liverpool goal could have been stopped by better marking, and we should have closed Pennant down for the second

and Robben is now off injured, this injury crisis is baad, we haven't even got near half of a defence and have no chance with a midfielder and right back in defence

You've got to laugh really, it was only 2 months ago that Manchester United's apparent lack of strength in depth was going to be their downfall this season, Chelsea get 3 or 4 injuries and can't cope. Mourinho can't complain, he was the one who wanted a 23 man squad, now he finds that 23 players isn't enough.

  17. I could have sworn the cast one was earlier. Although I'm thinking of the free kick against the Arsenal in yellow? And I'm only thinking earlier cause the United kid I remember in that game was the one they wore in the first 2 seasons of the Premiership.

Yeah thinking about it the one where he wore the cast was in 93-94, a free-kick from about 35 yards. The 95-96 one was a volley that went in off the underside of the bar.
