  1. To say Rey didn't deserve it would just spark arguments, so I won't say it. Rey eliminating Orton & Trips is utter BS.
  2. Helms is bringing the Cruiserweight Title to RAW??? OH MY GAWD!!! I assumed Helms would go to SmackDown! with it. This is a very odd angle, indeed. Rey winning. Sav, you was right, man, I'm sorry. Cena regaining- WTF is wrong with you WWE??? Angle retaining- Well in one form or another, I saw it coming. Undertaker back for a couple months? Yay [sarcasm]. Divas match- Well 3 hot women being in the ring together distracts me from the match itself. JBL/Boogeyman- A squash match over the "wrestling god", WWE has sure buried JBL. Whoever said that a wrestler's entrance means they'll win apparently didn't see WM21.
  3. I'll keep this short and sweet-Michaels was right about Hogan.
  4. I totally support Warrior in this battle, as stated before, him changing his name to Warrior is a bit weird, but besides that he is a huge star and deserves to be a Hall of Famer, he's a legend up there with Hulk Hogan, no doubt. I think Warrior should win this, not only for himself, but for guys like "Brother Ray" & "Brother Devon" who can't even use there patented name(s). As once said (except it said God in place of WWE and was people instead of wrestlers), "The WWE is a kid with a magnifying glass and the wrestlers are the ants". I find that to apply here, despite it being a slightly edited quote.
  5. If you watch the DVD, however, it does make some great points in the Warrior's favor. I mean to actually 'live' his gimmick by changing his name is a bit bizarre.
  6. They'll probably give the belt to Cena or something, much like they did w/ Stone Cold & the Smoking Skull belt. I hope this Edge reign lasts for a long, long time. I don't see how WWE can justify taking the title from Edge after all the hype wrapped up in the MITB and everything.
  7. Edge wins, Edge wins, Edge wins. EDGE IS THE NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW WWE CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. The Elimination Chamber is always entertaining, to me anyways.
  9. I hate to double-post, but here are the match results for WWE New Year's Revolution 2006:
  10. Here are my thoughts: Elimination Chamber: WWE Championship: John Cena © Vs. Shawn Michaels (1'st to enter) Vs. Kurt Angle Vs. Chris Masters Vs. Carlito Vs. Kane (last to enter) I think Cena will win the Elimination Chamber and will probably end it with Angle and/or Kane. I don't WANT Cena to win, but, to me, it's inevitable. As a side note, I think Angle will eliminate Michaels. Intercontinental Championship: Ric Flair © Vs. Edge (w/ Lita) Ought to be decent. I like Edge alot more that I like Flair, so I am saying that WWE will go with the long shot and have Edge beat Flair. Big Show Vs. Triple H Also, ought to be decent. I say that Trips should pick this one up by hook or crook. Gregory Helms Vs. Jerry "The King" Lawler I think WWE will have Lawler win to solitify him as a "legend", as for the match, it'll suck, especially because of the way it was (or was not) built. Women's Championship: Trish Stratus © Vs. Mickie James I say Mickie will pick up the win, having Trish hold the title for a full year is ridiculous. As for a possible heel turn, I say it'll be Trish. Bra & Panties Gauntlet Match: Ashley Vs. Torrie Wilson Vs. Candice Vs. Maria Vs. Victoria A case of where the winners are the fans and of course, Vince. I hope your proud, Vince. Victoria needs to be in some way involved with the Women's Title. I would've loved to see the Women's title be defended Triple Threat style. It seems odd to have NYR free of Interpromotional matches as .
  11. I think Grisham's comments were smart and very true when he said "Call the TNA show, if they have one" or something like that. It's funny, how many web shows does TNA have again? Hell, they have one 1-hour show and 1-PPV a month. That TNA fan has some balls to state that TNA is better than WWE, but having balls doesn't make him right.
  12. RAW was, well, RAW. I think the only way to describe Vince as an on-screen character is a "hace" (half face, half heel), we could call him neutral, but that would be lying. Michaels/Snitsky- God, that is one horrible goatee. Masters/Chavo- Excellent match. It must be tough to work a match as a heel with a Eddie chant running. To answer someone's previous question, I think they would classify the match as a "No Contest". Daivari/Angle- Loved it, Chiota (sp?) is most awesome. Cena/Benjamin- Loved the divided crowd. I think the people chanting for Cena just do it because they think that because WWE solitifies someone as a face, they MUST cheer for them and vice versa. Oh and Benjamin's "mama" coming to RAW next week: "Don't Make Me Break My Foot Off In Yo' A**!" That's Benjamin's Mama. Carlito/Victoria- A way to have a "Chyna Complex" on RAW. Did anyone else find Carliro's pin on Victoria a bit disturbing? Kane/Heart Throbs- I can't say I am surprised. Maybe if The Heart Throbs & Rob Conway formed a stable..................They could lose as a team :D McMahon Segment- Just like all the "in-ring" McMahon segments, confusing and controversial. The Cutting Edge- Oh loved the Conan O' Brian style bit, after that pretty boring. Not very "Cutting Edge". I think it's funny that Jerry, Joey, & Coach were all laughing into their headsets, but then Jerry & Joey turn around and call it disrespectful or something. I think that was Striker doing the hilarious Flair imitation, the bad part is, Flair talks like that alot of the time on-screen. Angle's "Major Announcement"- I was hoping for the announcement of Daivari as the referee in the Elimination Chamber at NYR, but, what can you do? Anyways, I hate to say it, but alot of Angle's points were right. I still think Angle can do no wrong in my book. I was hoping for 3MW to strike during one of the Beat The Clock matches at the 3-Minute mark, it would of been awesome or for them to attack Vince would have been more awesome.
  13. With the exception of the DVD Review, RAW looks to be decent. The bright side is we are guaranteed 6 matches. Whether I agree with it or not, "The Cutting Edge" entertained me last time and hopefully it will this time, it's obvious that a fight is going to break out though. Possibly a IC title match at NYR? That would be 'nice'. Show & Triple H's contract signing is just another dumb reason for Trips & Show to fight. I hate these pointless contract signing, c'mon people, the match is going to happen at NYR, it's not like it's a mystery. On the DVD Review, it's hard telling with Vince, he's just so egomaniacal. Hey Vince, how about announcing a RAW G.M. instead of "reviewing" Bret's DVD?
  14. I imagine they'll wait until the 1'st RAW of 2006 (January 2'nd) to announce a new G.M., just to start the year with a 'fresh' RAW. Originally, it was suppost to be Vince McMahon & Shawn Michaels reviewing Bret's DVD, but HBK's name was omitted.
  15. I wonder if the superstars "fear" working w/ Vince because being the boss, he could essentially break kayfabe at any given time (and has on many occasions).
  16. Um, I don't watch shows, I only watch RAW, because it's the flagship (plus, I don't get UPN).
  17. Going in a completely opposite direction of where this topic is going, I think a discussion is in order as to what this "huge announcement" is by TNA at Turning Point? It's being advertised as "changing the face of wrestling". So maybe they are moving to a different night, maybe a 2 hour or 90 minute show? I've heard that they may be moving to Thursdays. It's suppost to be something that will "change TNA forever in 2006". Thoughts?
  18. I rewatched RAW today (I record it) and I think that has to be one of Mick Foley's greatest moments outside of the ring. It's hard to explain how funny it was until you see and hear him, how he says it is hilarious, I knew I was "adequately prepared for entertainment" when Mick came to the ring w/ a Batman lunchbox.
  19. Since it's apparently customary to put my thoughts in on RAW, let's take a trip, shall we? Eric Bischoff's Court Case: Hella entertaining, but the best part, Mick Foley, w/out a doubt. Oh, that was funny as hell when Mr. McMahon announced that the court would take a recess and Mick took out his lunch, HILARIOUS! Foley IS God. On the flipside, it was all leading up to Eric getting fired (obviously), but what I was mad about, was that we will have to wait yet another week to find out who the new GM is. BS. Opening/Squash Match: World Tag Team Championship: Fatal 4-Way: Champions: Kane & Big Show def. Venis/Viscera, The Heart Throbs, & Tomko/Snitsky by Kane & Show pinning Venis, Romeo, & Tomko following a triple chokeslam. Is it just me or is WWE trying to have 2 seperate storylines for the tag champs? Victoria (w/ Candice & Torrie) def. Mickie James (w/ Trish) by roll-up. As mentioned, totally preparing for Mickie's heel turn. I still think that, but I've heard rumors of Trish turning heel (again). Chavo Guerrero def. (the new) Lance Cade by pinfall following the Frog Splash. Good match, should be on Heat, but good nonetheless. I'm liking this new Cade. Squash Match: Triple H def. Tajiri by pinfall following the Pedigree. What exactly does this do for Triple H? Carlito & Kurt Angle def. Shawn Michaels & Shelton Benjamin by Carlito rolling up Benjamin after Benjamin missed a high-cross body. Of course, putting Shelton over w/ his new "attitude" The Cutting Edge w/ "scheduled" guest: Ric Flair I got the feeling that this was not very thoroughly planned, I think it was just a case of "get from here to here in this amount of time". Really put the "legends" over, but not as much as the out-of-action, self-proclaimed "Rated R Superstar", Edge. Lita was hot, so it kind of evened out.lol. I'd love to see Michael Hayes Vs. Edge, that would rock. Triple H & Stephanie re-uniting on camera was interesting, brought back memories of the "McMahon-Helmsley Era". I think it would be awesome to see Mr. & Mrs. LaVesque calling the shots (or more specifically Stephanie McMahon) again. Cena making a completely pointless appearance was odd, I definetly think he's getting outed from the #1 spot on the Top 25.
  20. Well for me, it's about 10 minutes until RAW, but WWE.com has updated their RAW Preview, it also includes: Shawn Michaels & Shelton Benjamin Vs. Carlito & Kurt Angle Edge & Lita's Interview Segment, The Cutting Edge w/ Guest: "Nature Boy" Ric Flair On a side note, whatever happened to last week's "Cutting Edge" w/ Triple H? I know Trips came out and cut a promo but why was the "Cutting Edge" nixed? Just curious. This week's RAW looks to be action-packed, I'm mostly looking forward to who the G.M. of RAW will be & also the HBK/Benjamin Vs. Angle/Carlito match, which promises to be good.
  21. I still can't believe it, it's too surreal, he was the next World Champion, he was going to be part of Team SmackDown! at Survivor Series, I-I don't believe it. How is SmackDown going to be SmackDown w/out Eddie? How is WWE going to be WWE w/out Eddie? It won't be, plain and simple. We will miss you Eddie, you have filled our hearts w/ joy and have entertained us for years and you have left a legacy behind that no one will question. Eddie will go down in history as the most inspirational man in sports-entertainment history. May you rest in peace knowing that you will never be forgotten and that no one will ever take your place as a superstar, a husband, a father, or a man. Rest In Peace, Eduardo Guerrero
