  1. I haven't been following AEW that long, but I think EC3 could fit in fine and make a name for himself there. From what I can tell it looks like the wrestlers have more creative control over their personas and feuds.
  2. Josh Duggar, America's biggest Christian hypocrite who molested four of his sisters (the youngest was Joy at 5) and had his parents and two of his victims go on national television and lie for him. The police reports are damning and show that at least two of his sisters were awake and aware when he molested them happened. He cornered one in the laundry room. He lured Joy onto his lap by promising to read her a story. I lived in the area at that time and everyone was terribly upset for those girls.
  3. I loved Longmire.

I'm working my way through it now and it's surprisingly good. I don't normally consume several episodes at once since I don't often have the time, but I've caught many excellent shows thanks to the coronavirus lockdown. Longmire is at the top of that list. Since you liked that show, you might also enjoy Hell on Wheels. It starts out a little slow, but it picks up steam by the third or fourth episode.

  4. I finally played WWE 2K20 which was enjoyable, but a bit underwhelming. I waited so long in hopes that they'd fix the glitches so maybe that's why I found it underwhelming. I built it up in my head. What did you think of the game? There's usually a new release of the WWE's gaming franchise every year, but it looks like there won't be one coming up in 2021. That's pretty surprising. Do you think the franchise is done for good?
  5. @Kam, I just realized that you usually start the PPV threads. Sorry for jumping the gun. Thanks for fixing up my post so it matches the others. I dig the poster image. The Undertaker's expression is something else.

The SmackDown Women’s Championship Fatal 5-Way Elimination Match should be good too. I think Evans or Banks will win, but maybe Tamina will surprise us all and come out on top. Has she ever won anything significant?

@Zack T I'm surprised that Vince decided to move forward with it, considering that he can't sell tickets. What do you think drove that decision? He'd have to sell a lot of PPV subs in order to make it worthwhile financially.

@Poppy Has that actually been voiced by the wrestlers?

It's turning out to be chaotic due to the coronavirus pandemic. I'm surprised they're continuing on considering that the WWE can't sell tickets to the event. But here we are, with a two night event, and a card that keeps changing. Are you planning to watch? The card looks interesting so far, I'd particularly like to see Lynch vs. Baszler and The Undertaker vs. Styles, but you never know what you're going to get once it's closer to time. I could do without seeing Lashley and Corbin, but Corbin especially always seems to get onto the PPV cards. Why is that? At least Lashley is up against Aleister Black, who I actually like. Hopefully Black will make it worthwhile to watch. What's your take on the chaos that is this years WrestleMania?

  7. @RandyW, I hear that! Punk is a moody jerk. He still holds grudges against the people he doesn't like. I bet if you asked him about The Miz today, Punk would go on a tirade about how he didn't deserve the main event at WrestleMania 27 because he's not a real wrestler with any talent. Plus, the man still sneers at professional wrestling. He seems to think it was a waste of his time and a joke, despite the fact that it made him wealthy and made him into a household name.
  8. That was too much blood, but the match with the Rhodes brothers was still fantastic! Those two have always been able to play off of each other well. I remember when Cody eliminated Goldust during the WWE Royal Rumble PPV a few years ago which was a phenomenal match. They made a great tag team too. What made Double or Nothing better than the other PPV matches was seeing the real Dustin Rhodes instead of Goldust. I've just always thought that The Natural gimmick suited him better. I was never a big fan of Cody's Stardust gimmick either. So, I'm assuming that Dustin bladed himself, but I couldn't catch when he did it. He kept trying to wipe the blood out of his eyes.

I wonder whether Alex Marvez knows anything about those guys. He didn't seem to. Bro needed to read a summary before jumping in. Jim Ross is still awesome.

    I dig Luchasaurus.

And I'm probably boring you guys with my commentary since you've already seen and discussed it.

  9. @Poppy, Matt Hardy switched to AEW? Is he still tag-teaming a lot? Did Jeff go too?

@Zack T Thanks for the info. The Buy In is on YouTube, so I'll definitely check that one out. I bet I can find the rest on FITE TV. I've been getting bored with the WWE, except for NXT, so this will be a welcome change.

  10. I never got into AEW due to time constraints, but now I've got nothing but time on hands. Which of their old PPVs is a good starting point? I recognize Kenny Omega, Young Bucks, Rhodes, Ambrose (goes by something else) and Jericho. Do those guys see a lot of action in AEW? My guess is yes - they're the main stars.

Zack, I'll join the chorus of folks who like your recaps, but I can't tell if those are PPVs or their Wednesday show. I'm out of the loop.

  11. Four months is a good amount of time. Do you guys think it might blow over by then? It seems like they're working around the clock on a vaccine/treatment option.
