  1. All the games in the Grand Theft Auto franchise have appealing music, but "San Andreas" and "Vice City" are a cut above the others. "San Andreas" led me to discover Rage Against the Machine. "Vice City" had a ton of older songs that I'd never heard before like Iron Maiden's 2 Minutes to Midnight and Toto's Africa.
  2. Things that most people love, but you absolutely hate (or at least don't get the fuss). What would make your list?

    -steak

-pub quizzes (fun at first, but got old quickly)

    -Elton John (bit boring)

    -Prince William

    - brow lamination

    -true-crime podcasts

    -John Cena

-The Rock (though I do go back and forth with that one)

  3. Babies can get diaper rash and suffer from UTI problems if they sit around in a soiled nappy for ages. I think most parents worry about SIDS too, and would find it hard to sleep through the night without checking on their infant.

  4. I have been watching Unsolved Mysteries, as I used to love the old version.

Me too! Did you know that Matthew McConaughey got his big break on the show? He played some shirtless guy. I had no idea there was a reboot of the programme floating about. I'll have to look for it.

  5. I used to love watching Bill Cosby and rooting for Lance Armstrong until their scandals were revealed. One second they're on top of the world and the next they come crashing down. Which celebs have had the biggest fall from grace over the past decade?
  6. Darby Allin is quickly becoming a favourite for me. I love his gimmick - it's so him. If Mankind and Taker had a kid, it would be Darby. He's got the theatrics and charisma of Taker and he's just as dedicated to his gimmick and really sells it. He has the guts, fearlessness, and the ability to improvise when necessary like Mankind.
  7. @Crompy, I usually just use Group FaceTime. You can add up to 32 people.

@Spade, it depends on which plan you have and I think only the free version puts limits on session time. I've never tried it though. There was a big thing recently about Parliament being told not to use Zoom for confidential business because China might be spying through the videoconferencing software. I'm not sure if Zoom is the only tool that's vulnerable to this. I imagine not.

  8. Some people have already started heading to the beach. I'm not sure if they're brave or foolish and I'm a little jealous to be honest. I'm not willing to risk it though. I've started planting flower seeds to perk up the garden. I'm not the best with plants so if they grow, I'll consider that my spring and summer achievement. How are you holding up @Spade?
  9. With the last two versions it seemed like the developers were rushed to get them out, which is why they were so buggy. The lag while playing online was just terrible. I'm sure there'll be other WWE centric games in the future, but they're smart to slow down the number of releases.
  10. I thought it was confirmed?

You're right there, Crompy. He got out of the hospital for days ago I think. I'm glad that he's gotten better. I'm surprised some of the world's worst dictators haven't been attacked by the virus in order to overthrow them. It seems like it would be easy to do.

  11. I have a fair few favourites in each genre. I do make it a point to watch flicks that star certain people, especially when the film has two or more actors that play off each other well. Pairs like Jack Lemmon with Walter Matthau, with Matthew McConaughey, Kate Hudson, and Owen Wilson with Vince Vaughn make my must-see list for the most part.

@RandyW, Nicholas Cage is so hit-or-miss that it's unreal. I've never seen him give a mediocre performance. What's the best character you've seen him portray?

  12. I've been avoiding the news because it was making me overly anxious. I was in for a shock when my sister texted me that the Prime Minister is in the ICU with oxygen support after showing some symptoms for the coronavirus. That feels so strange to me. I felt the same when Prince Charles fell ill, though it seems he's better and has reunited with his wife. I wonder if Boris Johnson regrets going with herd immunity as his first method for handling the outbreak? I hope he doesn't have it. I don't think it's been confirmed, just that he's showing symptoms. It feels surreal.
  13. Drew McIntyre's big moment won't be so memorable without the crowd. I like the card as it is now, but I know it won't stay that way. There are some good matches lined up. Edge versus Orton will be dull I bet. I'd like to have seen Edge versus Goldberg instead. Cena versus The Fiend is the one I'm looking most forward to. What about you all?
  14. Jeff Hardy is still signed with WWE, right? I don't think he can move to AEW unless they release him. I loved the Hardy Boyz tag team matches, but both are equally good alone. Nyla Rose is starting to show more personality and is more likable because of it.
  15. J.K. Rowling is probably my favourite author, but I'm into nonfiction at the moment. I usually pick those books by their subject instead. Right now I'm reading The Sixth Extinction by Elizabeth Kolbert.
  16. It was interesting to see Brodie Lee and QT Marshall square off. I've enjoyed Marshall on ROH over the years, but he's performing better than ever now. Still, Lee dominated that match. Who knew he had all that talent? Not Vince. I was disappointed in the bit between Hardy and Jericho. Something was off and it seemed to drag on and on. Maybe it was just too silly.

@Knox It's worth following them on social media, both AEW and some of the stars, because they give clues about what will happen in the future. It's part of the fun.

  17. Tim Martin's PR flack had to know he'd come across like a spoiled petulant child. Refusing to pay the staff and suppliers was nothing more than a vindictive tantrum. I thought he was still going on about it though, and was refusing to pay his staff past Friday unless there's a firm date for when he'll receive payment under the coronavirus job retention scheme. I hope this has truly been resolved. The man is seriously out of touch.
  18. Animation movies have come a long way, yet creativity is not lost. Too bad that Star Wars: The Clone Wars is in its last season, yet I have never started watching it. Am I too far behind?

No, not at all and it's one of the best programmes to come out of the Star Wars franchise. It was created by George Lucas and you know he's a great storyteller. You could start with the latest season and would be able to figure things out fairly quickly. But it's worth bingeing all the episodes if you have time.

  19. @Fletch That sounds dreadful. Have you decided whether to seek work elsewhere or to file? The remark about Tesco's was laughable considering the wage difference. I read that Gary Neville has pledged to ensure the staff at his hotels will receive full pay as usual. I hope he holds true to that, but I think many of these goodwill gestures will fall flat as time wears on.
  20. I feel for the athletes who have trained so hard. I love watching the Olympics and was looking forward to it, but I don't believe they will carry on while the coronavirus is causing such havoc.
  21. I don't have a particular favourite, but I think old school animation when they used to draw each cel by hand, contains the most artistry and skill. Across the board though I love animation. I'm waiting for Disney+ to hit the UK so I can see the last season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
